alokdhari··on Ask HN: What are the top pains of being a remote worker?
Funny how no one mentioned how hard it is when one adds a 2 year old child to the equation. My partner didn't get wfh and I was left to look after our little one on my own, when the childcare was prohibited due to lockdown. Really hard to get anything done if you can't focus for more than 10 minutes.

Firstly, a big well done to you. This is absolutely amazing. I am pure backend dev struggling to get my idea up and running. This will solve my worry of auth and the initial design right away.

My questions: Is there a way to contribute? Are you planning to monetise this?

I very much agree with you. It should be up to the person who has the information to decide whether it should be made public or not. Morally speaking, it could cause outage and even war, who knows.. but it should be up to that person to decide. Monetary incentives dilute the idea of moral responsibility and also gives some people an opportunity to shout : "Oh! They did it for the money". What next .. will the information be put on auction !!

I am sure they eventually would. If not NASA, then other countries would definitely do so.

Hey.. TBH its real fun to play with it.

Question.. How big is the frame? I create two objects and they went out of frame. Then I create 2 more but a bit bigger ones and after 2-3 minutes I see those two objects coming back and it looks good too :D .. check it out http://imgur.com/IBYeysm

alokdhari··on Amazon has sold no more than 35,000 Fire phones, data suggests
I would have bought the phone if it came with lifetime or say 5 years of prime and free videos and games and what not. And I reckon, Amazon could easily do that but they didn't for some reason. Anyway, lesson learner I guess..

alokdhari··on India’s Answer to Google Glass: The Smartshoe
I am not sure how is it an answer to google glass !! It navigates and counts the number of steps and roughly the number of calories the wearer burns. Now if we consider it as an answer to google glass then is it an answer to smart watch and astronaut's suits(I consider them wearables as they are expensive and loaded with tech). End of the day, title's a bit too misleading I would say but none the less a good invention and I might even go back home and buy it.
