I think they implemented parts of it into their Gecko engine. But they laid of all the Servo development team in like 2020 I believe.

Only recently when it moved over to the Linux Foundation has Servo started being worked on again

Yeah that surprised me too. Surely if they are able to get the same job done while working from home that would be the better option for everyone involved no?

As some employees may lose like an hour a day just to travel whereas that hour could be spent working on features etc. if they didn't have to travel into the office.

I instantly install this extension whenever I work on a new machine as I could not imagine browsing the web without it.
