I found that Unity doesn't like Super+R or whatever other combination you enter. It doesn't always seem to "catch" the combination.

I tried it today morning (by doing an upgrade from 11.04) and the unity panel kept restarting every two seconds.

Don't try it without a backup yet.

Just change the hotkey for the Unity panel - in the compiz plugin configuration, the Unity plugin.

'Smart' startup founders would then let these 12% coders go by the end of their vesting period. Problem solved...

I, for one, don't welcome the new look. The old overal Google look given an air of unrefined, raw 'geekness'. I liked the feeling that I was using something designed and made by scientists rather than enterpreneurs. This is, saldy, finally going and Google is becoming one of many.

Of course look is not all, the quality of service they provide is uncompared. I'm still a fan, but I really prefered the old days.

I haven't been using f.lux since I learned about the flaw - it would only work with one of my monitors on Ubuntu Maverick (or Lucid, I don't remember now).

I'm now happily using redshift and it does work with two monitors.
