In a month, the Jira server is set to reach its end of life, prompting many customers to shift to their SaaS Cloud offering.

It seems customers are delaying the transition due to the extensive planning and stress associated with migration, leading to a noticeable increase in server activity.

Meanwhile, our company is scheduled to migrate next weekend. Despite investing over 50 consultancy days and engaging in thorough internal planning, completing the migration of our projects and customizations poses a significant challenge. The migration of our relatively small CMDB/CMD asset dataset within the weekend timeframe seems unlikely. We are employing both vendor plugins and custom scripting, as Atlassian lacks a dedicated solution for asset migration.

afishisafish··on Lost John Coltrane recording, from experimental phase with Eric Dolphy, emerges
India & Olé are my favourite Coltrane compositions!

Olé's base melody comes from this old Andalusian Folk Song called "El Vito". It's beautifully mesmerising https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAKPWxcnDas too.

afishisafish··on Atlassian to shed 5 per cent of workers
You really don't need to go through the API.

Jira automations are installed out of the box. No third party plugins needed.

It's very very basic jira administration, and it's one of the more powerful tools jira has to offer:

afishisafish··on Atlassian to shed 5 per cent of workers
That's perfectly configurable in 5 minutes with an automation.

Jira out of the box doesn't make your company suddenly more productive. Just like Office 365 doesn't magically work. You need good governance, administration / configuration and proper training to make it generate added value.

Look at the Bitcoin as the defacto reference of value for other crypto that do solve other problems. It's import to have a store of value that's not traditional fiat (like USD).

afishisafish··on Lost John Coltrane Recording from 1963 Will Be Released
Such a rewarding song, Olé. An interpretation of an old Republican civil war song, pure bliss when the melody kicks in.

afishisafish··on CryptoMaps: Cryptocurrency Market State
First comment by this user. I can't comment on NEO's security, but I'd be wary of people making bold statements without any proof to back it up. Crypto landscape is for a lot of people all about the fud, the push and the pull.
afishisafish··on Bitcoin’s Wild Ride Shows the Truth: It Is Probably Worth Zero
Yes, many altcoins serve different purposes other than just being a currency pur sang.

Ethereum and NEO for example enable developers to build smart contracts (Dapps) with real-life use cases.

Musiccoin tries to solve unfair royalty payouts in the music industry.

There are so many new initiatived, and I'm convinced we are only at the very start of this blockchain revolution.

afishisafish··on Bitcoin’s Wild Ride Shows the Truth: It Is Probably Worth Zero
What I'm missing from the article is that Bitcoin often is seen as the "reserve currency" of the cryptocurrency world. Bitcoin might not be superior technology wise, but it is the de facto standard for trading other cryptocurrencies.
