acemtp··on Slack introduces message buttons
That's exactly why we developed Talkus (customer support 100% in slack).

We were fed up to spend our time to switch between Slack and the web app.

acemtp··on Slack introduces message buttons
Yes, you can keep track of who clicked on the button and for example, if three clicked, you remove the button. (oh oh, just thinking of a fun game...)
acemtp··on Slack introduces message buttons
Slack added a category for apps that use buttons: https://slack.com/apps/category/At1H7NS2KY-all-buttoned-up
acemtp··on Slack introduces message buttons
That's really a cool feature. We are developing a help desk 100% in Slack and try to see what we can do with these buttons:

acemtp··on Show HN: Talkus – Chat with your website users from Slack

Thank you for your comment. We'll do our best to achieve this mission :)
acemtp··on [dead]
The biggest difference with hubot and other bot is that you don't need to setup a server, install, update the bot. It's a saas bot. So it's damn easy to add it to your current Slack team.
acemtp··on Wanna know what product your competitor is working on? Try Slack
The issue seems to be solved
acemtp··on Introducing Meteor 0.9.0, the Meteor Package Server, and Isobuild
In fact, it was explain in the post but was removed a few hours later (perhaps too much info on one news).

It was about the fact that you can code the same way on server, browser, mobile.

Example was that you can use Http package everywhere with the same function and have the same result.

And the other example was the Cordova integration. The build system can generate the code for the whole distributed system (not just the browser).

acemtp··on Introducing Meteor 0.9.0, the Meteor Package Server, and Isobuild
The new package system was one of the last missing part for Meteor 1.0 so it's really a good news. And Isobuild, isopack are really promising. Can't wait to see the result!

acemtp··on Show HN: Take Off 2014 non-profit tech conference in Europe

acemtp··on Ask HN: Alternatives to Evernote?
Thank you! You right, I'll have to find a native speaker. I'll fix that.
acemtp··on Ask HN: Alternatives to Evernote?
I created a project called http://dok.io The goal is to easily create and forget (like in gmail) small piece of info (dok). The dynamic search helps to find them if needed later.

Of course it's collaborative (like a wiki) and everyone in the team can add/edit just by typing in the dok (like in asana), no edit button or whatever. Oh and behind, it's HTML5/JS with Meteor.

Feedback will be greatly appreciated.

acemtp··on Ask HN: What is the problem you try to solve?
it s out of topic but it's really cool! congrats
acemtp··on Ask HN: What is the problem you try to solve?
you don't describe the problem in a tweet :)
acemtp··on Ask HN: What is the problem you try to solve?
it s a pitch, not a problem description.

the problem is "people miss movies when they are available"

right?

acemtp··on Ask HN: What is the problem you try to solve?
you describe what your product does, not what the problem is
acemtp··on Ask HN: What is the problem you try to solve?
What is the problem the user have?
acemtp··on Ask HN: What is the problem you try to solve?
You don't really describe a problem but describe what you are doing?
acemtp··on Ask HN: What is the problem you try to solve?
Indeed, the goal of this thread is not to list everything just the project who solve a problem.

For angry birds, the problem it solves could be "people have too much time with nothing to do" :)

acemtp··on Ask HN: What is the problem you try to solve?
You don't really describe a problem but describe what you are doing?

The problem could be "people lose their data, NSA can access my data"

acemtp··on What if successful posts on HackerNews are just luck?
Thank you moderator... a penality... Why?
acemtp··on What if successful posts on HackerNews are just luck?
It would be interesting indeed to know if it's the case.

In all case, I prefer to have direct feedback from HN community.

It's a postmortem of an article who had 20,000 unique visitors and stay 20 hours on frontpage of hackernews.
acemtp··on What if successful startups are just lucky?
Yes I heard of the concept of increasing your luck surface area and yes it's clearly what everyone should do.
