well, that's a percentage!
while I could agree on the "principles", specifically for this example I still have scars. Too much costs, no much gain, and you end up with a single project (the first and last one) that no one want to touch and that will be the first to be "engineered back" to java - years later and with a lot of loss

as other as said this feature was already present in ff only, but then noone picked it up and so it was abandoned
windows '98 - even on a semi decent machine - was fast
that's ... one of the dumbest thing I've ever read
I was wondering how "enforceable" these nullness check will be and how they will affect generics (will a "List!<String?>" be treated like a non-nullable list of nullable strings? and a List<String!> ? is the "unknown nullables" forwarded to the elements?)
Dante wrote it in 1321. In poetry.
Oh, and he basically "invented" the Italian language.
that is difficult to read now.
and from what I understand rust constructors are basically the same as java, no?
no, really:
help(StopIteration)
class StopIteration(Exception)
| Signal the end from iterator.__next__().
|
| Method resolution order:
| StopIteration
| Exception
| BaseException
| object
...so, in other words... rust developer tried to write rust in python, and it didn't work.
wasn't that the same story for each combination of two languages? I remember people criticize other people for "always writing java in any language they work with"...
packaged for debian :)
more like "there are songs that are basically just insults" :D cfr https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mz8o7VcBr4I&t=28s
