We don't have anything in that magnitude.
I think it's actually way easier to defend yourself against the state here, than in the US.
I always read about this supposed "freedom" in the US, but what does that mean actually?
I mean here you can drink alcohol in public, wear no t-shirt on the subway, still smoke in many bars, say what you want online, and there are even illegal misdemeanours like kids smoking weed in public that nobody really cares about.
What I said was that situations involving guns tend to scare/alarm all involved parties.
And that getting rid of the guns is easier and will likely have a larger effect than curing people of their racism.
1. Some white people are afraid of black people. (the other way probably too)
2. Most people are very afraid of other people carrying guns.
3. Most people are afraid of some form of resistance when they challenge/approach somebody.
Add it up. It's likely that somewhere a white policeman approaches a black person who has, or could have a gun, and experiences fear.
Before this is read as an excuse for the policeman, which it is not:
Keep in mind that fear and anger, fight and flight are intertwined. Hatred can come from fear. Fear can come after hatred. One brain-areal is responsible for both emotions.
The only efficient response to defuse these situations is to eliminate the "very afraid" above and disarm the population.
Dropping a bomb onto a house is more fun than building one.
Leaving the EU with a bang was certainly more fun to him than the long negotiations that follow could ever be.
If the miners freely agree to accept a fork, were they really free in their decision or did they do it because of peer-pressure or because humans like to preserve groups more than anything else?
On the other hand: What would need to happen to "prove" independency of the organization?
If you actually start to feel worse when having time to relax, that hints at different problems like depression or anxiety.
When I discovered ethereum a couple of years ago I thought it was a good idea. Partly because I was turning similar ideas in my head at the time.
But what I read now sounds like amateurs designed & implemented it. Sorry.
And it's kinda tilted in the third dimension depending on which date it is.
Don't forget that it's not necessarily an evolutionary disadvantage to be slightly depressed or anxious, because you tend to avoid risks. Same with low motivation and an easily distracted mind which can help to conserve energy by finding ways of avoiding tasks.
If you're not psychotic, but plainly depressed, the question is basically if you need your serotonine or your dopamine/noradrenaline boosted. A blood test can tell you that.
Other than that:
. Go outside every single morning. A study in a german hospital showed that 20 minutes of daily exposure to daylight can reduce meds by 30%.
. Go running for 15 minutes every single day. I say 15 minutes because it's supposed to become an easy "no-brainer" ritual.
. Keep a diary in which, every single day, you make a list about strictly only the positive things that happened that day.
About 90% of the neurotransmitter serotonin in your body is produced by enterochromaffin cells in the stomach.
Though this does not directly affect the brain (the brain has it's own serotonine synthesis) it modulates a multitude of responses like blood pressure, body temperature, which, in turn, affect the mood.
Quote from Wikipedia:
Serotonin is a neurotransmitter and is found in all bilateral animals, where it mediates gut movements and the animal's perceptions of resource availability. [citation needed]
In less complex animals, such as some invertebrates, resources simply mean food availability.
In more complex animals, such as arthropods and vertebrates, resources also can mean social dominance. In response to the perceived abundance or scarcity of resources, an animal's growth, reproduction or mood may be elevated or lowered. This may somewhat depend on how much serotonin the organism has at its disposal.
I almost never feel cold, when I do i'm sick or very tired.
I do martial arts and I gain muscles very very easily, so maybe that's because of that?
And all my blood values have always been in the optimal range, except cholesterol which is always a bit too high (runs in the family).

I can formulate sentences in my mind, but it feels really slow and cumbersome.
Long-term depression is a way of thinking and feeling that some people fall into easier than others and that is also cultivated over time.
If you had a rough childhood and coped with it by getting sad and finally dissociating from your emotions in an early age, and you proceed to do that for a long time, then you are likely to get what's called a major depression.
I don't know if I would call that a symptom or a disorder and I frankly think that most of the time it doesn't matter for the treatment.

Create a file, where each day you enter a list of positive things that occurred or that you did that day. Can be really anything like "got out of bed again :)", "didn't argue with my brother", "cleaned the dishes", "made a plan to get better".
I did it for about half a year, it does wonders for your self-efficacy.
One of the TLDR: the feeling of being happy and being sad are not the same brain-function with a sign reversed. Just because you're not happy doesn't imply you are sad and vice versa, just because you're not sad doesn't imply you're happy.
You have to train not-being-sad and being-happy independently!
[0] every hypothesis was experimentally tested!
My idea was a browser-plugin for youtube, that would take the downloaded video and start seeding it. On the other side, if a video has been blocked by YT, it would automatically use the torrent version.
As far as I know, it's therapeutic index is similar to the one of alcohol.
I dare to say that everything that calms the body, like alcohol, other drugs (GHB), or going to sleep has to do with GABA ;).
In my experience cannabis especially lowers the motivation for physical activity, but also the "motivation" to process and work on bad emotions.
Just google "lab test" for these.
There are laboratories measuring that stuff from urine and saliva. They are expensive and the results also need to be controlled for things like normal thyroid function, so you can map properly derive levels in the brain. Also the tests need to be done at different times of the day.
The test-results include ranges. Interpreting and correlating the values and if they are problematic is the work of the few doctors who work with these labs. A bit like with cholesterol levels in the blood.
A doctor once told me that you can't tell for sure, and there are complete surprises, but normally, if she sees a result-sheet she can give a relatively accurate guess about how the person "generally feels" over the day (tired, happy, hungry, anxious, stressed, relaxed, trouble sleeping or not etc.)
