Also, the current pay-pool system is NOT effective bc MGT is NOT able and/or willing to fight for their employees who work to get a reasonable pay-bump and instead the game is always "can't pay my employees more than me or my MGT buddies".
The federal service culture insists on paying MGT positions more than technical higher-talent positions in over 80% of cases.

And datacenters for LLM applications...? How much land will be required to build a power plant facility to power each new LLM datacenter...? What solution carries that base-load during the low-light or low-wind time-periods...?
If this is the status-quo in the US now regarding nuclear fission tech then don't look now but NASA and other nations R&D sectors are already making significant progress towards anti-matter solutions. Luddites beware - the risks with new high-energy tech doesn't get any less scary moving forward but they DO score better on net-zero-carbon metrics.
If you're working on a file in the cloud instead of a local file then you probably should've already written/bought your own locally hosted server product instead.
OpenOffice Calc (and similar products) are a staple for ppl who need applications that work without all the "c-suite needs their bonus" silliness.
Please don't retire for another 10 years (or more).

iirc, the original ideas came from some clever team from MIT or similar setup. Used for bringing Sketchup and Blender models to life via JS. Intended for local LAN implementations.
However, I'd add that the two figter pilots who testified in front of Congress would NOT agree with the balloon assessment. So, if you accept their opninions as SME and thus leaning towards legitimate then that leaves "a slow-moving object" before you add in the details about the acceleration patterns that also occurred.
Now consider viewing the Tic-Tac video footage (released by the Pentagon) along with with interview of the radar operator during that same mission and then the GIMBAL/GOFAST video footage (released by the Pentagon).
Finally, there is a CSPAN video where two former-fighter pilots and a former DoD intelligence director testified in front of Congress about these topics.
Then go down your list and see which of those 11 options fit the best.
Imagine!!! ...there eixsts an app that implements a playlist using video objects (.mp4s). This app will NOT be able to engage/disengage fullscreen in Chrome/Edge without some serious hacks.
Potential solution: - Simply implement a brower setting that enables/disables user-gestures for specific URL(s).
Edge error: Failed to execute 'requestFullscreen' on 'Element': API can only be initiated by a user-gesture.

"Does any other iOS browser have such feature?" - Not to my knowledge?
Can you dig it?
I have no affiliation with the authors of the book or any of their case-studies.

Also, there was a second guy (Mario Ludovico) who was doing similar R&D where a Japanese team actually were able to replicate the results of.
Try not to be influenced by the "omg, that tech is SOOO old!!!" crowd.
What's the rationale for not building homebrew media players instead of railing against Spotify...?
So, recent R&D into sleep tech has come along ways in the past 20 years. Basically research has shown that during nap/sleep cycles our brain moves around memories (from short-term to long-term and prioitization) and connections between memories. Also, this process optimizes information in the brain to make the access faster and more efficient thus providing opportunity for neuralogical advanced thought sessions given the datasets after a nap/sleep session.
Some basic take aways include +20% memory capacity per 8-hour sleep cycle and longer un-interrupted access to memory collections. It's also been shown that it's possible to tag the day's memories and then prioritize them during the next nap/sleep session. Significant results have shown that groups that take 30-minutes nap have stronger memory capacity versus groups with no naps.
The face of the R&D seems to be Matt Walker - PhD Brit with intense accent - you've been warned!
TL:DR - The brains basically recharges AND rewires during nap/sleep sessions.

Also, there was a paper written by a NYC analyst firm from approximately 5 years ago that spends significant time crunching the numbers between green vs nuclear solutions and demonstrates the pros/cons of both solutions. This paper provides a very good baseline to start the process of assessing costs of either solution relative to the amount of power output from a specific solution. Unforunately, I seem to have misplaced the link but I'm sure someone can dig it up.
IEA (https://www.iea.org/reports/nuclear-electricity)
Energy.gov (https://www.energy.gov/ne/articles/nuclear-power-most-reliab...) - Demonstrates the sheer capacity that nuclear has over other solutions. Spoiler alert - you might be pleasantly surprised.
TL;DR - Nuclear offers significnantly more benefits than most ppl (in this thread) seem to realize after you actually consider the output capacities of the different solutions.
I moved to writing web-code for personal purposes only. Now, I specialize in other types of technical areas for paycheck purposes (C++, Git, PM support, computer HW maintenance and procurement, similar overly niche technical tasks, etc).
