We're about to see a digital clash of cultures.
Certainly it's more cost effective to obtain it domestically than to import it from the other side of the world?

The first few days felt silly. I didn't feel an improvement, understand what the point of meditation was, and didn't believe I was doing it correctly. Gradually over time, I began to feel more relaxed throughout the day. Situations that would normally cause my anxiety to rise did not affect me. My focus improved drastically and I was able to concentrate for longer. I felt exponentially more comfortable in social situations. In one specific instance at the height of my practice, I had two different friends comment positively on a noticeable difference in my “energy”.
Towards the end of my 60 days, I increased the time I was sitting down since I experienced a marginal improvement. The unexpected consequence was that I no longer cared about most things. I won’t say I was enlightened by any means, but I no longer needed external stimulus or material things to be happy. I felt indifferent towards most critical components of my life. Why did I need a job? Why do I need money? To buy material objects I don’t need? This pattern of though cascaded across all other aspects of my life. At this point in time, I legitimately believe I could be homeless and happy.
This transcendence scared me, and I cut down to a couple days a week. As it turns out, even balance needs balance.
isn't this essentially what mastodon is?
The younger people want the pop and sparkles. The older people want what they're using to simply work because they value their time. The pop and sparkles are a distraction that doesn't add to the functionality.
There are a few devices that are in the physical button niche still, but from smaller companies and on crowd funding platforms. Their specs leave a lot of room for improvement as well and there is there is risk the device is never produced unfortunately. The two that have the most traction right now are the Pro 1X and the Astro Slide 5G.
The Pro 1X is a second generation device that has a bad history with order completion. There are customers who ordered the first generation years ago who never received a phone. They bumped their order to the Pro 1X and are still waiting.
the Astro 5g on the other hand is from Planet Computers. They've successfully produced a couple devices such as the Cosmo Communicator.
I'll hopefully be getting my Astro this month after backing the project since November bof last year.

Long answer: There are many "pills" for different mindsets, and I don't believe incels subscribe to any specific "pill" in their entirety. I don't have enough first hand experience with incel groups to say which is most prevalent, but I would assume it's a toss up between the red and black pill. These guys fault society and women for their problems instead of attempting to fix it themselves.
Here are the main pills I've seen used online. Some have political connotations attached to them;
White pill - Having hope and optimistic look on the future. You probably won't see this in incel communities.
Black pill - Everything is out of my control, and I have no power over outcomes.
Red pill - This is the most ambiguous of the "pills". It is about recognizing "how the world really is". This is a huge spectrum from "The media lies" to extreme racism. Sometimes it is also used to describe someone joining the Republican party.
Blue pill - Believing main stream media narratives. Often used as a synonym for "ignorant" and "naive." Sometimes used to describe someone joining the Democratic party.
Those are the main pills I've seen used online. There are more, and the ADL[1] has a decent breakdown of others that I won't go over here. Some of these I've never heard of and are NSFW.

It is the opposite of a self-help group. If these guys actually wanted to improve, they'd go to the gym, fix their clothes, be more hygienic, hold themselves accountable and etc. Instead they all share their rejection stories and blame society for their problems. Eventually it comes to a head.
It feels like a forced attempt at viral marketing. "Maybe if we act shocked, they'll be shocked too!"

I never understood this.
You serve someone until they're too drunk to deal with and kick them to the street where they'll likely get arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct.
Why not give them some water and let them wait it out? OP said himself 95% of people understand and only 5% get a little rowdy after they've been cut off. The 95% should at least be given a hour and some water, not kicked out.
There are plenty of other factors at play in viewing a candidate for promotion. Leadership ability, experience, overall operation knowledge, seniority, and etc. Bringing in revenue is only a fragment of the considerations.
It looks damning on the surface, but she could tank a portion of the review that is critical to being promoted and still rank highly.
This is a situation that it's best to reserve your conviction until it plays out in court.
Police that serve in a disarmed populace don't have to worry about a suspect reaching into a wasteband or pocket and pulling a firearm. Cops in the US do. That single movement alone is enough to warrant a violent response by police engagement standards.
The guy walked outside to a squad of officers aimed at him. Whether they were SWAT or not seems mostly irrelevant.
I've seen a decent amount of body cam footage of officers responding to calls. Not enough force or control over the situation can be a fatal mistake. Too much force and they're vilified by the media. They obviously can't ignore the call either.
Cops are getting crucified in the US on both sides. Why anyone would want to take in that duty in these times is beyond me.
There is one main rule to foraging. "Never eat a mushroom you can't positively identify." If any trait of it's appearance is questionable, don't eat it.

To be fair, transitioning from any phone around the S7 era to an iPhone XR bought in 2020 would probably give you the same feeling of revelation.
The longest I've held on to a phone was the iPhone 7 Plus for ~4 years, but even after 2 and a 1/2 years it was starting to show it's age. By the time I got rid of it, a charge would last me a little over half a day from moderate use.
