TKWasRight··on Jewish Problems (2011)
Probably because people think he is being anti-Semitic by posting the facts about over-representation of Jewish enrollment in top universities.

When you couple that with the fact that the data shows that "white supremacy" at college universities is kind of a myth and that there is another "supremacy" altogether, albeit one we're not really allowed to talk about in "polite society," you can expect a lot of downvotes.

TKWasRight··on How Joseph Stalin Starved Millions in the Ukrainian Famine
I had no idea the forced Ukrainian Famines killed more than the holocaust...
TKWasRight··on Google Offices to Mandate Vaccines
The data would disagree with you
TKWasRight··on Google Offices to Mandate Vaccines
Would you agree with employers doing this with something like AIDS?
TKWasRight··on Google Offices to Mandate Vaccines
Not at any of their data centers...the folks working in critical environments (electricians, mechanics, water chemistry SMEs, fire alarm testers, elevator inspectors, etc.) are not for the vaccine...
TKWasRight··on Google Offices to Mandate Vaccines
You know the vaccine doesn't do anything to stop transmission right? So you can be in a room full of vaccinated people and still be just as likely to get it...
TKWasRight··on Google Offices to Mandate Vaccines
You know vaccinated people still transmit right?
TKWasRight··on Google Offices to Mandate Vaccines
That isn't what the data is showing...
TKWasRight··on Google Offices to Mandate Vaccines
No they aren't. We don't have long term data so what you said cannot be proven or said to be accurate.
TKWasRight··on Ask HN: How can I work on energy?
Utility companies, look for "smart grid" or "distributed generation" projects/roles within them.
TKWasRight··on The world needs more search engines
Yes.

TKWasRight··on ‘This Did Not Go Well’: Inside PG&E’s Blackout Control Room
It pretty much is...the marketing folks can't talk with the distribution/transmission folks without SEC liaison...the whole industry is governed by NERC, split up into regional authorities...WEC, ERCOT, MISO, etc...I'm not sure what you mean by "when you try deregulating it..."...Who is deregulating it and where?
TKWasRight··on ‘This Did Not Go Well’: Inside PG&E’s Blackout Control Room
> Do they?

Yes, they do. ERCOT, as one example, is doing just fine, many of the southwest power companies are private and aren't having issues.

TKWasRight··on Given the State of the World, Is It Irresponsible to Have Kids?
Look at the population explosion closely...look at the numbers and geographic locations...I don't think we're getting "more smart people..."

What do you mean by this?

TKWasRight··on The Myth of the Wealthy Welder
It depends on what blue collar work you're talking about...I went blue collar (power plant operator)...obtained CS degree and got a job as a programmer...then after a year went back to blue collar...operations is more interesting to me, plus I get to be on my feet, moving around all shift...it suits me much more...plus the pay for an operator is >$140k in a rural area
TKWasRight··on The Myth of the Wealthy Welder
Yeah, but you'd have to work for APS or SRP...That's a hard pass for me.
TKWasRight··on The Myth of the Wealthy Welder
If they went to school to be an electrical lineman and incurred any student debt to do so then they already failed...

You can join the IBEW as an apprentice, get work experience, an education, and get paid...no student loans required.

I'm not sure how your friend did it, but they should have done more research...

TKWasRight··on Israel accused of planting mysterious spy devices near the White House
> Without support from the USA, it would not be possible for Israel to defend itself.

Why should we care as US citizens?

> I don't think they want to hurt the USA, but I do think they would support an opponent of a politician that had been "heard" expressing a lack of interest in financial and military support for Israel.

I don't think we'll ever see that here in the U.S. unfortunately...the "Israel Lobby" wouldn't let it happen.

TKWasRight··on Israel accused of planting mysterious spy devices near the White House
It's still used by those that want to deflect away from the very odd and disadvantageous relationship we have with Israel...

TKWasRight··on Israel accused of planting mysterious spy devices near the White House
> Israel and the U.S are extremely strong alliance

Citation needed. We hear this all the time, but from where I stand it looks like a pretty one-sided "relationship."

We give them billions every year while running a deficit and what do we get from it?

TKWasRight··on Israel accused of planting mysterious spy devices near the White House
In what way?
TKWasRight··on Israel accused of planting mysterious spy devices near the White House
That is where one issue where you'll see some agreement between the two parties...unending commitment and funding for Israel...it seems like Israel is making out like bandits from this one-way "relationship"
TKWasRight··on Israel accused of planting mysterious spy devices near the White House
Aren't we only viewed as Satan because of our support for Israel? If we stopped our support for Israel, then OUR interests would be elevated over Israel's, which would be good for us but bad for Israel.

They really don't serve us that well for be our so-called "Greatest Ally."

You can't just hide behind "that's antisemitism" in all cases of analysis of Israel's influence in geopolitics and specifically in U.S politics ..it's not being intellectually honest

TKWasRight··on Facebook Bans Louis Farrakhan, Milo Yiannopoulos, InfoWars and Others
> The shareholders of Facebook are entitled to run their company as they see fit. Because they own it.

That isn't entirely true when we are talking about "customer discrimination"...we'd be having a completely different conversation if Facebook came out and said "we're going to ban Filipinos" or "we're banning those who express anti-war sentiments"...it's a lot easier when the people being persecuted are right-wing nationalists, anti-Israel, or conspiracy nuts...
