TIPSIO··on Cowork: Claude Code for the rest of your work
Yes it basically does! My point was that I really doubt Anthropic will miss making it clear to users that this is manipulating their computer
TIPSIO··on Cowork: Claude Code for the rest of your work
Have you ever used any Anthropic AI product? You cannot literally do anything without big permissions, warnings, or annoying always-on popup warning you about safety.
TIPSIO··on Cloudflare CEO on the Italy fines
List the sites they want offline'd, @eastdakota?
TIPSIO··on DeepSeek-v3.2: Pushing the frontier of open large language models [pdf]
It's awesome that stuff like this is open source, but even if you have a basement rig with 4 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphic cards ($15-20k machine), can it even run with any reasonable context window that isn't like a crawling 10/tps?

Frontier models are far exceeding even the most hardcore consumer hobbyist requirements. This is even further

TIPSIO··on Claude Opus 4.5
Hilarious sarcastic comment but actually true sentiment.

For all we know this is just the Opus 4.0 re-released

TIPSIO··on Google Antigravity
I actually like the workflow they are suggesting. There's something there for sure:

- Nano Banana => Mockup

- Antigravity/IDE => Comments/note

- Gemini => Turn to code

- Antigravity/IDE => Adjust/code

All on the same platform so can maximum automate / "agentic"

TIPSIO··on Claude Is Down
I noticed a huge dip in activity in one of the subreddits I frequent exactly at the same time
TIPSIO··on Google suspended my company's Google cloud account for the third time
This will probably become a major problem with the Gemini APIs in enough time.

A customer does something crappy, e.g.: generates an image they aren't supposed to, and boom you're business Gmail and/or the recovery personal Gmail gone forever.

TIPSIO··on Gemini 2.5 Computer Use model
Painfully slow
TIPSIO··on Improved Gemini 2.5 Flash and Flash-Lite
This is also my beef...

Anthropic kind of did the same thing [1] except it back-fired recently with the cries of "nerfing".

We buy these tokens, which are very hard to do in limited tiers, they expire after only a year, and we don't even know how often the responses are changing in the background. Even a 1% improvement or reduction I would want disclosed.

Really scary foundation AI companies are building on IMO. Transparency and access is important.

TIPSIO··on Meta Ray-Ban Display
If you’ve ever used the current Meta Ray Ban and AI, this almost exactly happens when the connection is bad. Pure confusion but the AI still tries to give you an answer.

I bet the device hardware is small/cheap and susceptible to interference

TIPSIO··on The web does not need gatekeepers: Cloudflare’s new “signed agents” pitch
For what it’s worth, I think CF will lose this battle and fundamentally feeding the bots will just become normal and wanted
TIPSIO··on The web does not need gatekeepers: Cloudflare’s new “signed agents” pitch
Bingo. Thanks for clarifying exactly my point
TIPSIO··on The web does not need gatekeepers: Cloudflare’s new “signed agents” pitch
Yes, I obviously agree with you. My comment's point is missed a little I think by you. CF is making these tools and giving access to it to millions of people.
TIPSIO··on The web does not need gatekeepers: Cloudflare’s new “signed agents” pitch
Everyone loves the dream of a free for all and open web.

But the reality is how can someone small protect their blog or content from AI training bots? E.g.: They just blindly trust someone is sending Agent vs Training bots and super duper respecting robots.txt? Get real...

Or, fine what if they do respect robots.txt, but they buy the data that may or may not have been shielded through liability layers via "licensed data"?

Unless you're reddit, X, Google, or Meta with scary unlimited budget legal teams, you have no power.

TIPSIO··on Cognition (Devin AI) to Acquire Windsurf
I think it's safe to say don't use Windsurf. There are so many other options.
TIPSIO··on Show HN: Node.js video tutorials where you can edit and run the code
Did you try it?
TIPSIO··on GPT-4.1 in the API
It it annoying. The bigger cheaper context windows help this a little though:

E.g.: If context windows get big and cheap enough (as things are trending), hopefully you can just dump the entire docs, examples, and more in every request.

TIPSIO··on Launch HN: Continue (YC S23) – Create custom AI code assistants
FYI I'm sure you're aware, Svelte has one of the best migration guides ever [1].

It's too large to be a Cursor rule though. But, if you dump it into Google Gemini (which is phenomenal at large context windows) it will write you a solid condensed version.

TIPSIO··on OpenAI adds MCP support to Agents SDK
I know Cloudflare has been talking about remote MCP for a while, does anyone have a solid example of this in practice?
TIPSIO··on Introducing command And commandfor In HTML
So basic click events without JS.

Seems to only work with popups?

Maybe a push for Google Ads on that super tiny bit of ad market who don't use JS

TIPSIO··on GPT-4.5: "Not a frontier model"?
I also hate waiting on reasoning.

I much would prefer a super lightning fast model that is cheaper but the same quality as these frontier models.

Let me query these things to death.

TIPSIO··on Freelancing: How I found clients, part 1
exactly!
TIPSIO··on Freelancing: How I found clients, part 1
I don't think there's a perfect recipe, but we have done quite well by marketing ourselves not as freelancers.

Aka, you are a small business. Aka, never do hourly and fixed cost projects only.

Too many people get caught up contract and deliverables and hour counting.

It sucks but you are a service worker essentially in a very high referral industry. Every project should be above and beyond with little push back. If it's unreasonable, everyone will know.

Know how to sell different processes to different people. Small ma and pa businesses are PITA but are also customers. Give them a different process than your big budget customers who always tend to be more easy going.

TIPSIO··on Claude 3.7 Sonnet and Claude Code
What are your thoughts on having a UI/design benchmark?
TIPSIO··on Claude 3.7 Sonnet and Claude Code
"Make me a website about books. Make it look like a designer and agency made it. Use Tailwind."

https://play.tailwindcss.com/tp54wfmIlN

Getting way better at UI.

TIPSIO··on Laravel Cloud
You are right that my comment could have been more helpful.

My reply and point is Laravel has grown far beyond a simple PHP Framework.

The entire ecosystem of various Laravel related tools can solve a majority of problems for developers and businesses.

TIPSIO··on Laravel Cloud
The Laravel developer ecosystem is unmatched.
TIPSIO··on Introducing Operator
The mouse and keyboard are definitely dying (very slowly) for everyday computing use.

And this kind of seems like an assistant for those.

ChatGPT voice and real-time video is really a beautiful computing experience. Same with Meta Ray Bans AI (if it could level up the real-time).

I'd like just a bulleted list of chats that I can ask it to do stuff and come back to vs watching it click things. E.g.: Setup my Whole Foods cart for the week again please.

TIPSIO··on Gemini 2.0: our new AI model for the agentic era
To be fair, I believe this is reserved for things like fighting fraud.
