This is actually how our brains work. "Find everything that matches x" is very difficult because they are supposed to do tasks like "Do x". Example: list all the first names of the people in your department. It will be slow and the question "Did I miss anyone?" will be prevalent. However, when one is asked whether Peter is in the department, you can answer immediately.

How should they? The average person has no clue of Nazi Germany, let alone what factors made it possible. Many (young) Americans today think everyone in Germany is still a Nazi.

Technically yes, but what impact do they actually have? It's pretty much irrelevant what he says there. Journalists simply like to use it for clicks.

Except it didn't, the photo quality on Instagram is really bad because of compression and it is not possible to share actual good pictures because of that.
