Russia invaded Crimea with military troops, overthrowing local government. Forces they funneled military hardware to in Ukraine then used a BUK anti-air system on a civilian airliner that had it's transponder on.

Don't try to dismiss this as "geopolitics" as if it was some nebulous unknowable cloud that removes Russia's culpability in the murder of civilians during war aggression.

The victims of MH17 were international[1]. This is not a case of "poor Ukraine suffering under a mysterious cloud of geopolitics."

Criminal prosecution over Russia's slaughter of civilians on MH17 is coming along nicely.

Talking about it isn't saber-rattling. Talking about it is discussing how Russia invaded Crimea and started a war in Ukraine violently overthrowing local authorities, leading to the downing of a civilian airliner.

But all of that is not a monopoly by any stretch of the imagination.

It speaks less of Microsoft and more of the vendors who find no need to change their ways. Yes it really is all held together with spit and tape, but nothing has forced them to change from it.

But that would massacre the thousands of middlemen companies making a profit off the inefficiencies of this current govt-subsidizies-private-industry system.

That last link is extremely interesting. Just spent some minutes watching the videos of previous record setting flares.

The flares oriented towards Earth are very obvious due to the amount of static after flare ejection. We all exist in a narrow band of of environmental conditions, spooky thinking about how much energy is occasionally hurled towards us. Just a slight lick from Sol and we could be done for.

This seems to be true. About a week ago I witnessed my boss question someone on if their dog was a service animal. He was adamant that it was but his demeanor betrayed himself.

I never saw someone get so maliciously defensive before, the person had to be told to leave because of his attitude from that point on. He actually called back and threatened my boss (on voicemail!) some time after leaving.

That one simple question blew him out of the water. Dog seemed nice despite his owner, but it didn't seem to be doing anything but dogging about.

Where I grew up we had space to grow out. This means our two stall garage became a place for storage, pack ratting. Some of it good but a lot of it.. Eh?

I have to admit this meant that there was never a shortage of tools but this also meant that during my father's passing I had to decompress and sort all of it. Some of it is packratted in my own three stall garage now.

Having a trait to collect myself it is hard to tell when you are going overboard.

Some things like early Nintendo games paid handsomely to keep about. Others like well worn copies of B rate VHS movies? Not so much. The advancement in movie quality made from very high grade studio masters was easy to see if you had technical knowledge in that area but the growth in perceived value for other things is hard to gauge. Growing up with the room to store what you like meant a lot of oddball stuff got packed away.

I'm trying to be more selective with what I pack than my father before me.. But hell, some things I'm going to keep just cause I like them.

Something people need to keep in mind when parsing this story is that many of the effected channels were not about militancy, they were local media outlets. Local outlets that only gained historical note due to what they documented as it was unfolding.

In Syria outlets like Sham News Network have posted thousands upon thousands of clips. Everything from stories on civilian infrastructure under war, spots on mental health, live broadcasts of demonstrations.

Everything.

Including documenting attacks as they happen and after they have happened. Some of the effected accounts were ones that documented the regime's early chemical weapons attacks. These videos are literally cited in investigations.

All that is needed to get thousands upon thousands of hours of documentation going back half a decade deleted is three strikes.

Liveleak is not a good host for such outlets because it is not what these media outlets are about. Liveleak themselves delete content as well so even if the outlets fit the community it would not be a 'fix.'

One of the persons featured in a Rootbocks campaign is white nationalist leader Matthew Heimbach, known as the guy who attacked a girl at a Trump rally[1].

Rootbocks is run by NathanDamigo, a white nationalist who has previously engaged in violence[2] where he assaulted a woman at a rally. He is another leader of yet another white nationalist group Identity Evropa, one of the groups present in Charlottesville.

Nathan is unhappy at the moment due to payment processors cutting them off[3].

I've emailed Coinbase but have received the "It may take a few days for a response" auto respond.. Is there any better way to contact to Coinbase? They likely want to start preserving evidence regarding the successfully funded campaigns that brought the Nazis to Virginia.

Since 2012 I've been dealing with right wingers coming onto the subject of Syria to denigrate victims of SyAAF bombing runs, justify the bombing of civilian clinics and hospitals, claim desperately that victims of Sarin attacks were dolls.

Many of them were coming from right wing circles, white nationalists. They have a thing for Assad[1], this is white nationalist group leader Matthew Heimbach promoting Assad. Many of them from different nations have been making pilgrimage to Damascus to meet with the regime[2].

Then one of these Nazi Assad fanboys runs down people in my own nation in a terrorist ramming attack.. I'm heartbroken. Many of us have been detailing this lot in great length for years but no one seems to of listened until we had a martyr in the US.

This is 2017, half a decade of this.

There was a torchlit rally where people shouted "Jews will not replace us" and "Heil Trump." One of those in attendance was Matthew Heimbach, a white nationalist leader who previously assaulted someone at a Trump rally[1]. Heimbach has urged violence before and cheered stabbings[2] by his fellow Nazis as well.

Part of Trump's base is engaging is white nationalist violence in the open. I agree, the world has gone sideways.

A site to watch is Rootbocks.

They have been the fundraising site of choice for white nationalists & Nazis involved in violence. The latest fundraiser is from the Nazis involved in the murder of Heather Heyer[1]. One of those attending has cheered stabbings before[2], calling it a war they were engaged in. His name is Matthew Heimbach, he is a Nazi, and he has already been in legal trouble for assaulting someone at a Trump rally[3].

Rootbocks recently lost their original host[4] after people realized kicking Nazi's asses was as easy as contacting unknowing companies to detail who their customers were[5].

After searching around for new hosts they appeared to of moved to a different domain, now using Rootbocks.co instead of .com until they are able to migrate the .com domain.

These types are to be treated like sites pushing malware, their hosts are to be contacted and pressured before their IP space can be tainted by clusters of Nazis & others promoting terrorism and violent attacks. If clickfraud is serious enough to pressure hosts into removing users then Nazis urging the purging of 'Jews and genetic filth' via violent means surely counts.
