NPSI = Not Purple, Shoot It!
Squad up and then move to some objective location and raise hell shooting anything (w/ coordination from squad leader since the idea is to usually pool DPSl) not in the squad.

This is how they're going to win over LR users. It always comes back to it not just being a decent photo editor, it's also a library management tool. Beyond good organization, If you're non-destructively editing photos and not wanting to render out every single artifact, then you need a tool that can you show the library and dynamically render the edits.
It's nice experimenting with different editors, but having library management is turning into more of what keeps me shelling out. I'll have to check this out more.
I-94 and I-35E in St. Paul, Minnesota comes to mind. You just merge left onto the other highway if you need to change.
I'm 60°N, as with my alarm clock, I've set a static profile to follow 365 days a year since the sun is unreliable.
It's amazing how long of a run top end hardware from ~2011 has had (just missed the cutoff by a few months). It's taken this long for stuff to really require these features.
I don't advise it, but tech can take quite some abuse.
He very, very clearly has no interest in returning to weekly videos on-location; more deeper dives or just something different.
It's nice to hear that this group found a way to maintain the spontaneity.
And if the app is good, it will categorize it's notification types in a user-centric way and allow you to enable only specific categories.

It really makes you think about this; interaction between levels in a simulation.
A compass, clear sightlines to points of reference, and a paper map can work wonders for orientation.
It's quite possible his things are where they were left and they were missed behind an unrecognized rock in a boulder field. People rarely stop and really look deeply at the path they've taken. The return trip can look quite different (time of day, personal exhaustion, etc.). If you can keep necessary gear on you, it's best. But if you really need to leave something make it dead obvious to find and then a few steps simpler yet. Necessary gear in the context of potential wind and freezing rain includes a decent jacket.
If everyone had prepared for a group trip (a couple hours hiking in the mountains) don't be the one to take off on your own, and try to caution anyone who wants to.
I think trying to reach his hiking party is entirely reasonable. They know best the planned route for the day and where the hiker should be. "can you see/hear (peak/river/waterfall)?" "if your looking at the peak is the sun in front/behind/left/right" of you?" could help reorient someone or make it obvious they went down a wrong side. but there is a tremendous amount of personal responsibility you're taking going off alone in the wilderness.
I have no idea if he was given an option but our numbers were sequential. X, X+1, and X+2.
I'm currently waiting for one of my brothers kids to actually tear into this to try and figure it out. It's more about boolean logic and I think there won't be too much illuminating if they try and open it but it's a good signal to provide more.

So if I didn't specifically look at and flip through the watch, and instead looked at my phone there would be zero indication I had a appointment coming up.
I'm happy with my Withings Scan watch now. I'm largely passed active-smart watch territory and only passively check the stats on it.
If people want same day results, it's a heavier process change than "count faster".
With the current rules trying to cut it off in mere hours is disenfranchising valid voters.
I got a job and started (over)working. Bugs/exploits in the PHP framework I was using took the site down a few times. Maintenance lagged, and I eventually zipped everything and shut it down.
I've found a better work life balance over the years, but just haven't connected the dots to ever doing something new with it. I think the last attempt foundered on picking a static site generator.
Most of my IRL friends and family barely use Facebook so I'm pretty sure few were ever very aware of what was on there.
It reminds me of this breaking change to .Net from last year.[1][2] Maybe AA just needs to update .Net which would pad them out until the 2050's when someone born in the 1950s would be having...exactly the same problem in the article. (It is configurable now so you could just keep pushing it each decade, until it wraps again).
Or they could use 4-digit years.

Controlling speed helps but as you say, sometimes you just need to "repeat that bit" and not wait for a whole minute to roll around where you might forget to catch what you're looking for. Or God forbid you do something like open comments and the video restarts.
I haven't pursued downloads yet but started looking for plugins, haven't tried any yet though. Installing plugins in a frustrated mindset didn't seem ideal.
