I'd be interested if people are going to wear their headphones less often or just say "screw it, everything has plastic now"
In the UK, at least, most are privately educated, did unpaid internships and a lot are sons or daughters of other journalists.
I'd take entrepreneurship over getting a job in the media any day.
But time to move on to new things
I read the book and did some actual barefoot running (got a lot of weird looks) and a lot of friends bought the shoes.
Now I think about it, I’ve not seen anyone in Vibrams for years
Always like seeing these stories. Will mention it in my High Signal newsletter.
"Starter (Just Kidding)" - likewise, I don't know what you mean by this.
hope that helps
I think there’s always a tension between people who want remote jobs to be anywhere in the world and remote to be within the US. A lot of job board owners are keen on the former.
Maybe try airtable instead of Google sheets
Also, an overlooked benefit - we have public healthcare so you don't have to worry about keeping a job in order to get health insurance. It's kinda overlooked point but it's weird that America has this system which incentivises you to have a job in case you get ill.
Also, everything is in English. I personally woulnd't want to file my accounts somewhere that I need to hire someone to translate the bank letters/contracts etc.
