I've had the pleasure of consulting to the FuseCal team. The problem they are solving - bringing structure to unstructured events - is really tricky stuff. Fortunately they are super smart and dedicated. FuseCal is definitely a startup to watch in '08.

Here's a third vote for Providence. I'm moved here a couple of years ago from NYC largely because it has so much potential to be an startup/hacker hub. I'm very involved in two initiatives at the center of the city's info-tech/digital media scene. www.rinexus.com www.providencegeeks.com Feel free to drop a line if you like.

my email is on my profile here - don't see yours. would like to hear from you. thanks.

Thanks - I'm pretty hooked in as I'm active in trying to grow the local scene, but am always interested to learn about other new startups around here. BTW, how do you ping someone on this system? Thanks.

No, moved here a couple of years ago from NYC. You?

Noosphere Networks - we're early still. PVD has a small, but burgeoning startup scene. www.providencegeeks.com Between having Brown U., RISD, and being in between BOS and NYC we have a lot of good ingredients.
