Money, degrees, and productivity are not metrics of a live well lived. There are metrics such as self-reported happiness, marriage and divorce rates, birth rates, and other things that paint a much fuller picture. You need to figure out what is good for you.
Some advice to other women developers. Take the money from silicon valley, then run to a cheaper place to live. Invest it well, and relax.
ex. Buy a duplex, and rent one part of it out to pay your bills.
The beginning of wisdom is to call things by their proper name.

However I'd be disappointed in Google if they didn't try to even out the gender ratio of the teachers and hire some more males as well. I can understand it would look like hypocrisy to some.
The fascist kind of suppressing (usually disagreements with the establishment or status quo) speech usually ends in violence and revolution.
This would be a great chance for google to show the world how its done on equality, and have a google branded push for more males in teaching and more women in tech.
It would definitely show the critics of hiring more women in technology, that it really is about equality.
If the high performers aren't compensated properly, the ones that a company needs the most, they will leave because they have options.
We (women) aren't a homogeneous group. Sure there are some psychopaths, but there are male psychopaths too.
I don't think "all men are rapists". I don't think most women are going on free trips to dubai or partying with silicon valley elites. Its a small percentage of people who live that type of life.
America is full of decent hardworking women and men. You just won't find them on the tv due to the entertainment cycle.
Sometimes I think the media is warping and twisting people opinions, you meet a lot of decent hardworking people in real life.

It really soured me on the whole program.
If employers stop using it to undercut and fire american workers while claiming there aren't enough american workers to fill the jobs. I'd feel different.

I suspect you are asking what is the social contract expectation from women ?
In this period of deep social unrest, I don't think people could give a unified answer.
Those parties and connections are not for normal people, more like 1%.
I'm assuming this applies to individuals and populations.
Maintaining Sweden’s social safety net also requires that the public continue to pay tax rates approaching 60 percent for their current amount of displacement.
If automation starts to displace a huge number of people, and there is no job to transition, the social contract will break.
I'm really hoping we hit a star trek style utopia (especially in terms of energy and food) before we get close to social contract breakage. I fear we won't though, we already seeing severe signs of the social contract breaking in the United States.
Internal political discord is occurring all over the world in the form of nationalist and populists movements including europe, india, south korea, japan, and america.
My cousin is a psychiatrist at a college, who has wishes there was a cure to baldness because so many young men become suicidal from balding.
The social media generation values looks very very highly.
Imagine someone tipping 50 cows, or spraying 50 buildings. The high amount makes its weird.
It really soured me on the whole program.
Combating extremism and taxes shouldn't be combined like this, It's morally repugnant.
I know very few women on tinder, but most of my single guy friends are on it.

I find it supremely hypocritical when the super rich lecture people about their electricity usage when they use an order of magnitude more.
I find it a little scary to see how much worse the backlash might look like.
The colleges and universities have become corporations that run on student loans and graduate student slave labor. This has to change, and it will be a painful process no matter what happens.

They worked around it, or at least the users did.
Republicans were shot at by an alt-left radical. Scalise was in the ICU.
Another alt-left radical Clayton Carter murdered a GOP committee member in front of his wife.
Mainstream Media is completely politicized
An alt-right radical murdered Heather Heyer a protester.
Today a missouri state senator Nadal called for the assasination of a sitting us president. It also trended on twitter. Twitter did nothing.
The only thing that gives me hope of deescalation is both the right and left media is finally denouncing violence on both sides.
CNN pundits and FOX pundits are all denouncing ANTIFA and the alt-left, and the alt-right and racists.
