My U-Lock key is on my key chain, which is in my pocket. It takes more effort to take out my phone, unlock it, and open the BitLock app.
You're kind of pushing what he said. He's referring to gaming, and probably shooter games. A mouse is definitely the most precise input device for shooters, or else you'd see professional eSport FPS players using laptop trackpads.
First problem: wires. Solution: wireless. Easy.
Second and largest problem: you need a surface. If you're on the couch you don't have a mouse surface. You could use your pants or couch cushion as a surface, but that's obviously not ideal.
Third problem: non-mouse hand. It needs a controller for movement. It can't be a keyboard, nobody is going to want a keyboard on their couch. I'm thinking something like the numchuck of the Nintendo Wii, except with additional buttons. You could experiment with either an analog stick or trackpad for your thumb. Again, it's not for aiming, it's for movement. Your mouse is for aiming.
1. Why is imgur not #1 on Google when I search for "image hosting". Postimage.org has that, but they take far less traffic than imgur.
2. When will we get video hosting that is as easy to use as imgur? That means not having to register to upload and share videos.
That's rich, considering the majority of anime today is garbage in production quality compared to anime of the past (in animation and story). Anime fans care deeply about playback quality? Yeah right. The minority do. The majority watch from CrunchyRoll or some free site like gogoanime. People such as yourself are such a rare breed, it would be an utter waste of time and resources for VLC to cater to you, and I'm not even sure why they make any attempts.
Hardware enthusiasts? PC gamers? Really, what a silly question on a tech oriented website. That's like asking who works on their car over at Jalopnik.
A cut through the iOS store, a cut through the Google Play store, a cut through Xbox Live Arcade Marketplace.
The IGN article says Minecraft sold 12 million on PC, so it's paying cuts on the other 21 million.
A single post or two on the name I could understand, but every comment? HN fixates on the absurd.
> "In the end, there was general agreement that Voyager 1 was indeed outside in interstellar space," Stone said. "But that location comes with some disclaimers - we're in a mixed, transitional region of interstellar space. We don't know when we'll reach interstellar space free from the influence of our solar bubble."
> So, would the team say Voyager 1 has left the solar system? Not exactly - and that's part of the confusion. Since the 1960s, most scientists have defined our solar system as going out to the Oort Cloud, where the comets that swing by our sun on long timescales originate. That area is where the gravity of other stars begins to dominate that of the sun. It will take about 300 years for Voyager 1 to reach the inner edge of the Oort Cloud and possibly about 30,000 years to fly beyond it. Informally, of course, "solar system" typically means the planetary neighborhood around our sun. Because of this ambiguity, the Voyager team has lately favored talking about interstellar space, which is specifically the space between each star's realm of plasma influence.

I tend to agree with their rationale, but they may just be pressed with time (remaining power on Voyager 1) and want conclusion. They can't wait 300 - 30,000 years.

That is poor judgement on your part. Your advice is crippling. If one is stuck in a dead-end job, then fun-employment for the purpose of self-improvement or side-projects makes plenty of sense -- as long as one can economically support themselves. You think employer XYZ gives a shit if there is a 6-month unemployed window if my GitHub productivity was "rock star" level with amazing side-projects to show? If the employer doesn't hire me, then that saves me the trouble from working for a stale company.
Who knows how many entrepreneurs wouldn't be where they are today if they took your advice and continued wasting their precious time away at Initech and TPS reports.

Uh, except it's Windows only? Sorry, I use 1Password only on my iPhone as if it were a hardware authenticator. No problems.
