Having seen their internal Blind, social Slack channels and culture vs. the Glassdoor reviews, and then submitting my review which really "went against the grain" of Glassdoor, it was clear there was something going on. I just didn't care enough to find out.
As these systems age, I think they're all missing one feature - "what are ratings or reviews from the past 6 months".
Instagram, Facebook and Twitter all remain social. For business it’s a content network, but for most users it’s still social.
They've had card payments since before 2019.
I’d take Indonesia and Heathrow during a lockdown over LAX on the quietest day of the year.
Once it’s online, it’s online.
Now, some consultancies get around this by flying over Indian people who stay for the maximum amount of time their visa will allow them, living out of a hotel - but it's clear the quality of work these people are doing is so hit or miss, as often they staff the wrong people, with the wrong competencies, we basically tell them to fuck off on arrival and have to have arguments with our contacts on the ground here.
Overall, our dependency on India, and any other country that doesn't have similar laws in place regarding data breaches, privacy or liability is quickly becoming too risky.
Let's face it, if you earn $15-25K USD a year and you're given prod access to a retail database for a Fortune 500, finance, retail, customer-facing, tech services or platform company - you can turn your access into 10 years of salary in less than a week. There are recruiters for this on LinkedIn now, actively reaching out to people with offers for ransomware, data extortion or business-email-compromise profit-sharing arrangements.
And the risk is real.
Heat and weight from the battery directly just exacerbates the problem.

The Commonwealth.
I guess Micky is getting his pound of flesh in Commonwealth countries later this year.
I'd sooner pay a bucket for something like Tines to offload critical mechanisms, and then do the dirt-cheap stuff on n8n.
On the CPU front though, it seems they're continuing to lag. I suspect they may have over-invested into GPU's when mining was booming, and the risk isn't paying off.
They'll be back, but I don't see them being a major competitor for many more years outside of commodity and Enterprise business. Which, as a company, is a great place to be. But I really don't care.
Bold.
Just publish your fucking read-only SQL credentials at this point.
Releases like this are more about stock price and investment than anything else.
I’m glad we’ve put more investment into this area as ultimately AGI will be able to uplift a large sector of the population that historically went underserved, or at least level the playing field.
But statements like this are meaningless wank.
