LiquidFlux··on Dell 38 inch UltraSharp monitor
I happened to buy the same, and import it from Germany to the UK.

Was very excited for it as it featured a very similar DPI to a 27" 1440p Korean import, coming from 3+ 1080p monitors originally the lack of bezels was incredible.

It's not built for gaming at all though, extreme screen tearing and poor response times has me now looking to replace the 27" 1440p Korean import with something >144Hz and G-Sync, before replacing the Philips BDM40.

Electron is the reason you're getting these kind of desktop applications built in the first place, it's opened up an entire portal of developers to catering to your needs.

It may not be the ultimate solution to the problem with regards to things such as performance, but these are irrelevant if the application were to never be built in the alternative.

DPD in the UK offer this functionality, it offers an ETA and the GPS location of the driver.

This is particularly useful for me as I then know when to listen out for the door, and I've confidence in the ETA knowing they're just a street away from me.

LiquidFlux··on Whatsapp: Video Calling
Is the quality of a phone call a high bar? I've always found WhatsApp, Messenger and Skype to provide what sounds like much less compressed audio, occasionally at the cost of latency until the bitrate drops to compensate.
LiquidFlux··on Stream PirateBay movies directly from CLI
For context, the fork linked above references being able to install it using 'npm install pirateflix -g', which does not function due to pirateflix apparently not being registered.
LiquidFlux··on Car turns driver in for hit-and-run
To what degree? There's a wide spectrum of driving assists.

Traction control and ABS through to cruise control or the assisted steering (terminology?) we're seeing more frequently today?

Your keyboard arrows set the state of the box, if an arrow passes through with the same colour / direction as the box you get +points.

It mentions beneath the game you don't need to hit your keyboard for consecutive arrows of the same type.

The map doesn't seem to show the icons if I load the site at a 2160p resolution, at a smaller resolution closer to 1080p it renders the icons.

Nope, I tend to go straight to the comments to HN and Reddit threads for context, criticisms, the likely important relevant information.
LiquidFlux··on Skype falls victim to text chat bug
Android, iOS and Windows apparently fall victim, OSX does not.

Clearing local logs does not resolve the issue, you'll redownload the logs from the server on launch, the culprit message needs to be deleted.

I use a Windows keyboard with Mac in the office, for me the ALT key replaces the CTRL key.
