the only difference between now and 2017 is people saw EA raking in the money anyway and have followed suit, so it's now more common. the outrage was proved toothless... cause star wars sells, and so does te$la.
I get sick very easily, even with traditional screens in some FPS games. VR people seem to live in a bubble and plug their ears every time somebody says VR sucks. sorry, it mainly sucks. headsets are heavy, wires tangle, graphics cards are expensive, cameras or projectors are tedious, resolution isn't good enough, rooms are never big enough or clean enough, a guest broke our window by accident, god I could go on with all the drawbacks.

> you ask some parents about santa clause. they say we are athiests, but we pretend to believe in santa clause to make our child happy. then you ask the child about santa clause, and they say i pretend to believe to make my parents happy.
if you have compatible cookware, definitely try it out, you can get an external induction cooktop from Ikea for like $60. if you don't, get some and switch because the cooking process is so much more enjoyable.
you know how when you're sauteing something and you wanna get a good sniff because it's smells amazing, only to get your eyebrows singed and a lungfull of half combusted propane? with induction, you get nothing but the smell of your food, without the excess wasted heat. also, it's fast on the big eye I can boil water insanely fast, I honestly didn't know it was possible to boil water that fast.
and I can say this all only as a happy customer who paid my own money, not as a paid advertisement, UNLIKE the gas industry which has been pushing this shit through influencers and marketing for decades. [1]

I also don't recommend the jelly 2e in particular because for some reason the only usb-c cable that's charges it effectively is the one it comes with, I couldn't find a single other cable that would charge it quickly, only trickle charge essentially...
> ok
vs
>ok.
or even (gasp)
> ok...
all have massively different tone, but if it was my parent or grandparent reading them, they'd probably be interpreted relatively the same.
my partner are our friends all enjoy having entire conversations as well by only using meme gifs. it's amazingly effective, and funny as hell. I also like using several emoji to describe the changes when I'm approving a PR that doesn't need a comment. hieroglyphics are definitely making a comeback, personally I'm there for it.

though I've also heard it called Alegria, and I'm not sure the exact difference.
edit: Alegria was Facebook's style specifically, Linus Boman has a great video which briefly discussed its place in history of clip art:
if the capability is the question, well i don't have any answers. 10 years in and the imposter syndrome is still strong.
while i definitely miss the feeling, i look back with horror and amazement that i ever did it, and very likely won't consider getting another bike again. i rode pretty conservatively the great majority of the time, but the culture is so provocative it's so fucking hard to be completely strict about it. my last bike was a big adventure bike, not a track bike, so it's not like i was squidding around on a gsxr the whole time.
this basically completely parallels my journey with alcohol. i don't drink anymore and never came anywhere close to alcoholism, but it was a pervasive and toxic substance and culture that i didn't really enjoy participating in anymore. i now have many other good options and hell even the craft NA beer options are growing quite well.
the first time I cancelled the call, they called back and I explained.
second time, I stayed on the line to explain, which they appreciated. this time I turned the feature off.
third time was on a new phone and hadn't disabled it...
I don't remember if iphone switch the volume button side between generations, but on Android it's not consistent model to model..
it's a great idea for sure, but it's easy to do accidentally if you confuse volume for power.
bartleby is the only antimimetic character, fictional or otherwise, who has ever been contrived
the only thing they do is obfuscate the particular human individuals exploiting the workers.
