IMorgothI12··on The Case for the Single Founder Startup
Ycombinator not funding my startup cost them 10 million dollars.
IMorgothI12··on Build a Business, Don't Focus on Valuation or VC Money
Ycombinator made a mistake to not fund my startup there was another startup that raised 10 million dollars.
IMorgothI12··on Microsoft's Stephen Elop moves to Nokia -- what a waste
Symbian is a dead broken horse with an outdated kernel. They should instead buy RIM or license Android.
IMorgothI12··on Oracle Hires Mark Hurd As Co-President
Not exactly. HP developed the first Memristor.

IMorgothI12··on Creative Destruction: How Entrepreneurs and the Internet Disrupt Old Industries
Can anyone recommend a vc or angel that invests in gambling startups?
IMorgothI12··on Never Launch, Just Iterate
I appreciate this recommendation.

IMorgothI12··on The YC Rejection thread
Feedback wouldn't necessarily be very useful. The feedback might be a meaningless number such as '42' in the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy Deep Thought (which doesn't really explain the result of the question).
IMorgothI12··on The YC Rejection thread
Ycombinator has been known to make mistakes from time to time. Especially youos.
IMorgothI12··on The YC Rejection thread
There's probably too many rejections to give any feedback. I mean if there were 10,000 to 20,000 groups that applied it would be impossible to send a reason in the email to each group. Besides it all comes down to a numerical rating (sauce for the goose). Kudos to the bird with a golden egg.
IMorgothI12··on The YC Rejection thread
Don't sweat the rejection. It's probably very difficult to get accepted to ycombinator. The odds are probably better winning a royal flush or x... than getting accepted to ycombinator. Cudos for the three strikes law....
IMorgothI12··on Why Iteration is a Powerful Way to Build a Startup
I appreciate the recommendation for my startup...
IMorgothI12··on IBM in Talks to Buy Sun in Bid to Add To Web Heft
IBM probably should drop AIX for Solaris.

If IBM were smart they would enable a machine compilable version of Java to destroy C++.

IMorgothI12··on Slashdot and Search Engine Patent
By the way I'm looking for someone who is interested in a related search engine I'm developing.
IMorgothI12··on Slashdot and Search Engine Patent
A patent company Geomas that claims to own location-based search is sewing Verizon. By the way he raised 20 million or so he claims.

This is related to search engines and is also on slashdot at http://yro.slashdot.org/yro/07/06/12/196234.shtml

IMorgothI12··on Google's Acquisitions Chief Looking For "Crazy" Ideas
This is partly why I can't understand my rejection. Google is looking for Crazy ideas.
IMorgothI12··on Vote up if you're rejected but will still proceed
The problem isn't when you have an idea and get rejected it's when you have a really good idea and still get rejected.

That's when it hurts.

IMorgothI12··on Vote up if you're rejected but will still proceed
They looked at my demo. I still got rejected thought. A better question is how many demos they looked at that still got rejected.

IMorgothI12··on Does it matter what college you go for undergrad?
A University should provide support in nurturing the invention process or providing patent and invention support.
IMorgothI12··on Does it matter what college you go for undergrad?
Actually one thing I would look for is something like the WARF program at university of wisconsin.

I think what you want from a University is a place that help you with your invention. If you have an idea they can help you get a patent (Unlike Andrews) and then you as the inventor can share some of the profit. Not all Universities do that and this is the one thing I would emphasize from a University. This can also help you establish a better record for jobs or startups.
