I just did a checkout to test and it says "Click here to get your Prime eligible items with Premium Delivery for £4.99 no extra charge". Yet clicking that button costs anywhere between £0.99 and £8 without any obvious warning.

I suspect (hope) Stripe Tax will soon offer a MoR service. I imagine this acquisition is mostly for their tax expertise & perhaps internal tools that do all the hard work behind the scenes.
If anything, EU companies have it slightly easier because they can file all of their EU-based taxes using One Stop Shop.
By flat out refusing to consider it, you become as much of a "drone" as the people you call out.
Not being active on social media has meant a lot of old friends have drifted out of my life so I'm trying to force myself to be more active on it but sadly there are no enjoyable (or usable) platforms left.
TLDR: Try starting with easier to sell, complimentary products. Focus on the smaller clients as they're more willing to innovate. Do such a good job that they can't help but brag.
I wonder if this data could be fed into an algorithm to lead to better search results overall. I guess it could be easily abused but it appears whatever is current used to determine rankings (backlinks still?) is easily abused.
When I used to weight train, during my cuts (weight loss phases), I had much more success with a high fat/low carb diet than I ever did calorie counting (which naturally makes you avoid fat since they have a higher calorie density).
[0] Not an expert but this is my layman's understanding after reading lots of books on the subject.
"We’ve worked hard to ensure that our tea bags are 99% bio degradable. However, as a result of the manufacturing process, Tetley tea bags do contain a very small amount of plastic to ensure the bags remain closed for you to enjoy your cup of tea."
I believe most have transitioned away now... or, at least, the only brand that matters if you're British has transitioned[0]

My plan for getting a list of subscribed services was to get people to add a forwarder to their email account with specific keywords (i.e "thanks for creating an account" or perhaps just "unsubscribe" would be enough). This would forward to an API which would check for a recognised service and add it to the list to notify. It has some privacy implications but I think you could narrow the scope enough for people to go for it.
The other method I had considered was getting a list of places your SSO is used from Google etc. Not sure if that's possible through their API but I'm sure with enough of the hacker spirit you could work out a way.
If you go for either of those ideas I expect a lifetime VIP account! (Just kidding)
Sure it's a majority but I think "vast majority" is a bit of a stretch.
That's great to hear, thank you for supporting open-source! I'll be sure to give your product a trial.
Seeing as you're "open-source", why chose to fork and detach the project rather than contribute directly to it? With a detached fork, other users can't even compare your changes to the original and pull in fixes. If you truly believed in the spirit of open source, you'd believe in working together and giving back; not just taking advantage of a free lunch.
It feels like all these "open-source" companies are just closed source but with open-source as a marketing gimmick.
Our product is a tool to turn user stories into end-to-end tests so we use LLMs for NLP, identifying key parts of HTML and writing very simple code (we've not officially launched to the public just yet but for the curious, https://carbonate.dev is our product).
"DriveBC has a dedicated website, but many access its automated messages through its Twitter account, a platform accessed by more than a quarter of Canadians in 2023, according to the company’s advertising data."
The issue is no-one is going to know about that website whereas a tweet it likely to get retweeted by other residents.
