There are actual real solutions to this. Just look to the older cultures that ate lots of beans.

In many parts of Africa the ultimate solution is to peal the skins off the beans. This removes all digestive issues with bean consumption but it's a lot of work.

Another solution is to uses the microbe Aspergillus by consuming Miso paste with the beans which help break down indigestible polysaccharides.

Hydrogen's volumetric energy density is about as good as lithium-ion. The cost of replacing a hydrogen tank vs a lithium battery is absolutely massive. You also aren't considering the energy density lost in cold weather for batteries.

Could she just get a friend using AT&T put their sim in her phone to have it updated?

If the Xeon counterpart isn't failing as well, then they most certainly know the problem. Too aggressive voltages for a more fragile transistor size

Thai bananas taste at least 3 times as good as regular Cavendish. A much stronger fruity flavor

It's definitely a generation issue. When there's no sun(overcast, nighttime) there's no energy. This doesn't even factor in solars quick deterioration from peak performance and the cost of the panels and environment damage from producing them.

I wonder if it's related to being a USB 2 stick rather than 3? Different drivers and perhaps UEFI handles it differently

I've never been able to get Ventoy to boot a modern windows installation iso, otherwise it's a very handy tool

Do you mind saying which island this was? I'd really like to live somewhere like this.

Technology has pulled as away from what's really important and then we look for escapism.

What a ridiculous argument. That's like saying the police shouldnt have weapons to defend themselves with because there's a history of police killing innocent people.

No, the real answer here is to address the actual corruption to expose and remove it.

Not to mention, if you have nothing to hide, how can someone abuse their power to use it against you?

These bills are put in place because they save lives, especially vulnerable children.

In a dynamically typed language, that's what comments are for. Since you didn't need types specified in the first place, why would you have trouble interacting with it? Comprehensibility and correctness are just as important as performance.

The only reason to consider type hints is for a performance increase and there wasn't any mention of that. What can you really expect from using type hints accurately?

"...the problem they face going through cycles of discharging and recharging in a stable way."

They suffer from poor wearing like almost all new battery technologies. Until that's solved they aren't useful.

It's much easier and more accurate to time your python scripts with `time python script.py`. Cool write up.

He's saying the code isn't crap and the attack on it is propaganda. The reason for the strong reactions is pretty simple. The majority of people here program for a living and GPT is a threat to their income.

They were already legal drug dealers, what's the difference?

Cryptocurrency suffers from the same problems if not worse. There have been billions stolen in cryptocurrency due to no regulations and a lack of accountability. In many cases the one robbing the exchanges were the owners themselves...

I'm surprised is wasn't mentioned yet but towards the end of CS:Source, just before Go, Valve nerfed the aiming and added in randomization to bullets fired that couldn't be corrected for. It was done to make the game more approachable to new players as a skill equalizer.

That's a myth that does not apply to all fig trees.

I've purchased many different brands of dried figs and 90% are coming from Turkey, which all have bugs, bug poo or mold in them. The fresh figs I purchased were from either the US or Brazil and didn't have this problem but were extremely expensive.

It is a bit odd. Considering you can get 800mg of potassium from a single glass of pomegranate juice.

Nowadays everything has large doses of potassium in it due to modern farming practices. They use almost exclusively chemical fertilizer containing potassium, phosphorus and nitrogen.

How do you expect a society that thrives on the exploitation and murder of other life forms to have peace and joy? There's a spiritual crisis happening right now and if you don't change the way you treat other life, yours will continue to get worse.

Yeah, the open drivers don't matter a whole lot. It just loads the closed source proprietary blob into the gpu. It's a step in the right direction but can be very misleading.

How does the speed of Mathematica compare to python or C?

The other issue is it draws in young people because of the high reward and exposes them to a lot of dangers. It sets unrealistic expectations and wrecks their social dynamics.

The other side of this is that happiness is available to you as someone intelligent and aware of societies shortcomings when you use that intelligence at any opportunity to help the life around you. And that's an ongoing journey that requires maintenance not a one time event or goal.

Exactly what I was thinking. Not to mention the prior experience with similar technologies.

How does a massive company like Intel who's work heavily involves code/compiler optimization not profile their drivers for something this simple?

By definition they aren't refined. You would have to remove the fiber to make those sugars refined as a first step. Fruit isn't pure simple sugars and it certainly doesn't act that way in the gut when buffered with fiber.

Fruit is not a refined carb...
