If you don’t pay them you’re not somehow freeing them up to realize their potential, you’re just giving them fewer customers. At least where I live a lot of professional house cleaners are small business owners.

There are people painting what would be considered impressionist painting now (literally now, I have a friend who frequently paints on sundays and texted to ask before writing this).
Watch it on a good screen in a dark room, and come away wishing other nighttime shots were done that way.
Edit: darkness is like a good score. It adds a ton but it doesn’t degrade well and people with potato setups won’t be able to see/hear.
As another example of this, there’s a great mkbhd video comparing new cheap smartphones with old flagship smartphones. He does that every couple years, and it always gets a ton of “I never thought of that” comments.

Edit: since it’s performance per watt is higher, if you’re capping frame rates then you can get less heat out of the 4090. Like I said, depends what you mean.
The GN benchmarks recently have done a good with explaining both the cost perspective and the performance-per-watt.
Edit: for reference, Newegg currently has the 5950x and 7950x at $500 and $600 respectively. And that’s before the higher platform cost for AM5/DDR5.
Huh? I’ll grant you that Microsoft was picky about being paid for their software, but they produced a ton of tools to support cloning and duplicating. License compliance was handled with audits and CALs, not some weird cabal of anti-imaging.
