Watching television for hours every day is at a minimum a bad idea and often an addiction. Many people would go crazy without a signal. Just look at how many people can't even function under COVID! As if being alone with your thoughts or with your family could ever be a problem for a healthy individual or family.

I'm sure you are different (or at least think so yourself) but I have never heard anyone who use drugs that says otherwise before they have stopped using them completely. Also "ruined plans" versus "ruined lifes" is quite a difference. It cannot be a big surprise that someone who gets addicted to a game might also be a drug user. Addiction is not really about the drug itself but the person.

They can likely write whatever they want but (at least in the EU) by law you cannot sign away your rights, so even agreeing to whatever someone write in TOS or EULA doesn't mean it will hold up in court.

You can't compare landmass versus landmass but only the behaviour of people in different places. It makes no difference if you live in a big city in China or in the middle of nowhere in the US on how big a polluter you are when driving your car. The same car is the same car everywhere. It is the same earth we are all on and we share the same air so how much uninhabited land there are is completely irrelevant. Borders doesn't contain pollution. So yes, driving a big SUV is most definitely a sign of not caring about pollution and not "but X is different than Y". Even those who "need a big 4x4" mostly don't. A small 4x4 is often way better in terrain while polluting less.

Every statically backed research on customer behaviour I have ever seen says otherwise. The more you slow down the page or app the less customers like and use it or buy the product being sold. As someone with a homemade site for our business I can say that it is extremely easy to be faster than 95% of sites out there and it makes a huge difference, also on Google. Tiny business with homemade website in top 1-3 on Google was mindbaffling easy because everyone use too many external sources and preschool level code. Especially the so-called experts. Most are experts in bloat.

Richer is often worse though. So the worst of both sides.

It isn't on all models unless you pay Apple to do so.
