What if you don't have an account to start with? Not having an account would be the same as 'forgetting' your username.
You don't need to do anything like that. DDG doesn't crawl the web itself, it uses API providers like Bing (Microsoft/NSA) and Yandex (Russian/FSB). They're legally required to disclose that on their site.
It's possible to identify people solely through anonymised credit card transactions[0] so doing the same for search results is pretty much the same.
DDG isn't private, it just gives the illusion of privacy, same as TOR. That said though if you're a high profile target then there's much more direct means to track what you're searching.

Learn Python the hard way is a great idea too though, I got my friend started with the Ruby one and she really took to it. Another good one for Python is http://automatetheboringstuff.com/
Something to watch out for though is a lot of books are hopelessly out of date, code moves so fast that all the code examples in a book even just a couple of months old will be broken. Trivial for experienced people to workaround but typically if you're reading the book to learn you won't be able to figure it out.
Genevieve Von Petzinger has done some ground breaking work on cave art and the geometric symbols found with them ( https://www.ted.com/talks/genevieve_von_petzinger_why_are_th... )
And Evolutionary Psychology is a real discipline. They're not mutually exclusive.
We do know. Just most people refuse to believe until it happens to them, so Yelp continues to get away with it.
That would struggle to work because of time differences.
A few years ago I added tags on my site, when people posted a satire link it'd say 'this is satire', fake news was the same etc there were 7 categories altogether covering hundreds of sites and links (satire site, potentially fake, malware, objectionable content, disreputable source, fake story, click bait).
I thought it was a fantastic idea because people would spend literally hours arguing over satire pieces (American site) but it backfired spectacularly.
I got accused of 'censorship' and 'who are you to say what's true or not', so I just dropped the idea. I still think it was great but end users hate that stuff, for some of them the entire reason they're on these sites is just to post and argue about that stuff.
So Facebook could never win doing the same, it just alienates their customer base.
Maybe the fact her mommy is President of the National Association of State Boards of Education and drafted a law making them mandatory for schools to buy, then her husband lobbied for the law, once it became mandatory for schools to stock them they hiked the price to $500.
Nothing. It's already done, it's just vanished from the news.
When the senators daughter was put in charge of epi-pen, first it was made mandatory in schools (so they had to buy it) then price was raised to $500 ( https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/sep/22/epipen... )
So a 3D printed alternative was created. It costs $50 and can be made at home ( http://fortune.com/2016/09/15/epipen-alernative-cheap/ )
That's a programmers perspective. We're not like end users, they really don't care what stack a website uses so long as it works. Looking at craigslist they don't even care if it looks decent.
I think what matters to them is that it has utility.
Did you just update his profile there manually? :p
Just get excited and show enthusiasm, if you're genuinely excited about it, then it's contagious and kids pick up on that.
1, drop the hourly rate, all you do is price yourself out of work. As an example, a great programmer can do it in 1 hour, a medium programmer can do it in 2 hours, an average one can do it in 3 hours etc. So the better you are, the less you actually get paid. Obviously you can raise your prices to compensate but then people will just go to a cheaper developer and probably end up paying more without realising it. So drop the hourly rate.
2, isolate yourself from the clients, coding is fun, clients are hell. Get a sales person in to do that stuff for you.
That's what the new Lighting network is for ( https://lightning.network/ )
That's what causes hype around technology. Even if people don't 'get it' they think well everyone else is doing it there has to be something to it.
