Cosi1125··on R: Introduction to Data Science (2019)
Why do you think that? (I'm legitimately curious.)
Cosi1125··on R: Introduction to Data Science (2019)
It's not a DSL.
Cosi1125··on What you've got is in fact a people problem
A people problem, or caching, or an off-by-one error. Or both.
Cosi1125··on The curious case of the disappearing Polish Ś (2015)
Polish (personal) computing industry definitely had a great – and, sadly, largely wasted – potential, however Odra is the worst example to prove this point. A poster child of the Polish "engineering thought" in the 70s was K-202[1], whose creator's tragic story shows how the dreams of the "Polish Silicon Valley" were defeated by the communist reality.

That's 8088, not 8080, unfortunately.
Cosi1125··on SymbOS Z80 multitasking operating system
Maybe not 8-bit, but my HP 200LX runs months on 2 AAs and is only moderately bulkier (thicker) than a modern smartphone. With a CF card you can have hundreds of excellent DOS programs/games on it.

Yes, this is the original [Anton] Chekhov's gun :-)

[Off-topic] This is golden:

Cosi1125··on Terry Pratchett and the Maggi Soup Adverts (2011)
Much is lost (and I learned this painfully reading the translation along with the annotations in APF), but also a lot is added by the translator. The translators had a lot of freedom – with Pterry's blessing – and some of them put it to good use. I love the Polish translation by Piotr Cholewa.
Cosi1125··on Recoil – Retro Computer Image Library
The language has been created by the main author of RECOIL, Piotr 'Fox' Fusik – an offshoot of Ć (Cito) perhaps? [1]

Cosi1125··on Find bilingual baby names
It says that Vi is a "feminine English name that may also be a Polish word".[1] Now, if Emacs were a masculine English name, it would be a perfect match for evil twins ;-)

[1] Hint: it isn't.

Cosi1125··on Trabant
A man in a pharmacy:

"500 meters of advesive plaster, please."

The pharmacist looks at him, shocked. The next person in line pats him on his back and says:

"Sir, 100 meters is enough. I also have a Trabant."

"Atari XE/XL" as in "Atari 8-bit". The XEs/XLs were way more popular in Poland than the 400s/800s.

Maybe I have a sense of humor of a 12-year-old, but this one made me chuckle.
