I'm only stating a name many of them have branded themselves as, and proudly at that. It's a point of discussion and quite frankly disturbing people make assumptions as to those who use it.
Everything is presented verifiable with the smallest of effort.
Firefox is nice and chrome is ok but they're a distant second at the moment due to the ecosystem with iOS
What would you rather they consume, an internal combustion engine that spits out a deadly exhaust or an electric vehicle that uses power, presumably from a nuclear or less toxic fuel source?
Congratulations, to all those who fell for it.

I was looking forward to seeing it in action based on reports of what it was.
the basics of econ, growth isn't even mentioned when it comes to capitalism.
The research for this hasn't yielded much since I can't alter the UI at all.
ro means no matter what I try, that file is ro unless the fs is remounted rw. Again, it doesn't negate file system level user/group permissions. and remounting a system level partition rw isn't something I'd do on a whim.
I like the idea of a ro partition for system level OS files, personally, but without user level access somehow - it's not something to be looked forward to.
What society, parenting, and/or schooling has failed to catch up with is the increasing pace of technological use by adolescents. No one's set proper societal or social guidelines for it, and the schools themselves haven't a solution/educational program outlining it either. Teaching people how to properly behave hasn't been explicitly stated as an area people need to include. They think that phone, or laptop, or tablet is just a black hole and that it's not "real life" or that another person isn't at the other end of it.
And I'm not talking about online shitposting, extreme satire, or any other elements of actual freedom of expression that may be offensive, but the reality and effects of bullying.
It's a 19th century problem people are trying to correct with 21st century tech, when it's anything but. It's a societal issue, or at work we call them "HR issues".
All this tech is going to accomplish is acclimate students to being watched all the time, and that's not a place I want to live in.

Does this phrase give anyone else the heebie-jeebies? They deliberately locked his account without looking at previous metrics over the previous months to conclude this was obviously not a concern, and why?
Things that have crossed my mind:
Is their automatic system was poorly tuned? Was this deliberately initiated? If so, why?
I'm new to this idea. Where has it been shown? What level or aspect is it male-oriented? What negative affects are there?
