"Leftism is defined by a goal of communism or socialism"—but that is just communism. No other ideology seeks communism as a goal, and socialism is just a stepping stone to communism, or at least that is what they taught me in my Soviet high school.
"By way of example, its fascinating the LGBT+ community is so tightly allied with radical Islamic voices against the LGBT+ friendly country of Israel. Its fascinating because of network effects that drive this apparent alliance, whereby a group likely to be outlawed (or worse) identifies with its avowed oppressors."
- Interesting. I never considered network effects role in this "strange bedfellows" phenomenon, thinking this was primarily due to intersectionality i.e. all the "oppressed" unite against all the "oppressors."
Everything about health IT systems is terrible, from protocols to classification systems. A lot of the problems predate regulations. On the other hand, health IT mirrors the real-world systems it meant to service - complex, rigid, and self-serving
I am unsure about the goals, but this is what the rule by the seld-elected judiciary was. When Israel's courts aligned themselves too far to the left and along the racial divide, they became incompatible with Israel's current demographics and majority-elected government. The catch is, the Israeli right wing may swing too far just as well.
“One flew over the cuckoo's nest” - back in the days, the state went a bit overboard with forced mental care, and there was a lot of political pressure to dismantle the system.
No argument about that, but Coinbase has been begging for a clear set of rules to follow for ages. Now SEC is suing Coinbase for not registering with SEC as a broker/exchange, but the SEC itself wouldn't let them register because they(the SEC) couldn't decide if crypto is a currency or security. The whole thing is a political fallout of the FTX crisis.
Ok. So what is your theory about the declining market for PCs? The only other thing I can think of is that companies bought tons of laptops for remote workers during lockdowns, which did not last as a trend.
I understand this point, and I agree. What I am saying is that number of creators is tiny when compared to the number of consumers. IMHO the demand for creator tools is too high considering all you need to consume is a browser or tablet, or game console
