People who complain about it have never lived in miserable weather. From what i've experienced, its actually rather nice and varied. Live up north, or even further up both then you'll get to experience miserable weather.
Obviously, the easy answer is that theres somehow something that lets you record data in those components. On the other hand, you have to consider that perhaps those are components that they've known other groups (them selves included) to use to store data, so they want to ensure that they're destroyed. Perhaps they dont want any inadvertent leaks of the data to a third party?
I'd hardly say it's difficult to upgrade, they've been rolling out network upgrades for the last decade, starting with the 21cn network, then fttc and persumably ftth as an eventual goal.
On the topic of 5, my view on this has always been that military investment is the governments R&D investment. So I'm not convinced that the military is a worthless investment.
You're oth saying the same thing for the most part, I dont think he's trying to imply that its their focus, just that its important enough to optimise specifically.
How on earth can you make such absurd statements without the smallest shred of evidence? I'm not interested in arguing with you, but unsubstantiated claims are worse than useless.
