That seems the opposite, very few things need those dynamic features and those that do can be special cased, which makes Objc the more pure but equally more academic language to me.
It's not that simple, as far as I know Hindi and Urdu are effectively the same language when spoken, with some small divergences but use a different character set. How would regard that?
I don't know about code contracts, but IntelliJ does have an equivilent, if less advanced version of these as well, using Java annotations. Although it's mostly used for nullability/taint detection ATM.
