AFascistWorld··on The $18B Electric-Car Bubble at Risk of Bursting in China
Note many of these are just forced by policies to "make" EV if they want to continue making traditional vehicles, others are just making money off of policies and subsidies, buyers are mostly forced to buy it due to license plate quotas.

EVs' reputation in China is going downhill ever faster, it's been called "electric daddy".

Urban area is extremely dense so it's lucky to find a place to charge where it hasn't been ocupied, many place refuse to turn on their chargers.

Hope western media can stop praising China's EV industry mindlessly, it's there coz of artificial markets. Just like farmers are banned to use coal, but they are never gonna be able to afford the natural gas heaters required to install.

AFascistWorld··on China’s assault on Cathay Pacific
The tax from luxury cars they bought is the best thing they could do for Canada.
AFascistWorld··on China’s assault on Cathay Pacific
Actually it's hard to block them, since they just need to cache every new article once, and you can't block a user just coz he accessed every new article.
AFascistWorld··on China’s assault on Cathay Pacific
Samsung magically fell to zero market share in China in the span of 2 to 3 years, that's a warning to any company doing business in China, now they are targeting Fedex over the alleged intentional diversion to the US of some Huawei packages, when China is angry at Korea, Lotte and Samsung became sacrificial lambs to the pent-up ire, Fedex and maybe some other American campanies may be the new ones (Amazon narrowly escaped the witchhunt of anti-China items since they exited China themself just months ago).
AFascistWorld··on Amazon has proven unable or unwilling to effectively police third-party sellers
Third party sellers are cash cows once you finish monoplising the market, sellers will be begging to give Amazon more and more marketing money to move their products.
AFascistWorld··on Amazon has proven unable or unwilling to effectively police third-party sellers
There will only be items of cheesy quality, super high profit margin and excellent marketing/SEO left on Amazon, coz that's how online marketplaces choose winners.

You may have noticed $BABA's high earnings numbers, the late stage leeching is powerful.

Customers may miss the good old days that they could go to real retailers to feel products in person and still have the power to make brands care what they want.

AFascistWorld··on Baffled student tells Twitter: 'I'm not a Chinese agent'
https://twitter.com/GeniusWu/status/1164029417737207808

China News Service invites paying some 1.25 million yuan for 580,000 followers.

AFascistWorld··on Why so many Chinese students can’t understand the Hong Kong protests
You are their target audience then.

>how much effort the publication put into fact-checking and confirming references.

Looks like you can read Chinese, so tell me if they do what say, why are there so many allegations of fabrication and plagiarism against this "self-media" on Chinese social media?

EDITED.

AFascistWorld··on Why so many Chinese students can’t understand the Hong Kong protests
Wow, don't know where you got your education, but that's some cheesy argument, it's not even worth wasting time to reason with you.

Weibo users are insulting their stewardesses who support HK.

Comments like "She's so ugly, you can find hundreds of millions of Chinese prettier then her" "Cathay is a hive of cockroaches".

This whole thing most likely will come to an end in September, in one way or another, before the 70th anniversary of China takes place, couples with this period of heated party in-fighting, no inharmony will be tolerated, something could happen.

AFascistWorld··on HarmonyOS is Huawei’s Android alternative for smartphones and smart home devices
https://www.voacantonese.com/a/ai-weiwei-river-crab-fest-fol...

It's Chinese name is from Chinese myth. Is it in any way rebellious? No I don't think so. Patriotism made Huawei and is making them dough.

It's most likely their engineers' limited creative idea.

AFascistWorld··on HarmonyOS is Huawei’s Android alternative for smartphones and smart home devices
Warning everytime you send or browse unharmonious messages, reapeated offenders will have their phones bricked, as this will be the most voted feature on Weibo./s

Stating that this is not for smartphones just days ago, now they decided fuck it why not?

AFascistWorld··on TV networks vowed to cut back on commercials but stuffed in more
Like believing esports are sports.
AFascistWorld··on Amazon allegedly scammed out of $370K by 22-year-old's return shipments of dirt
You are lucky it's ordered through Amazon, had it been ordered on their own websites full of English errors, it will be the same response but no easy refund, after lengthy back and forth hassle with Paypal and credit card company you'd be lucky to have your money back.

While for these scammers, it's a super lucrative business, their whole cost is no more than 1 dollar, that means they can make money as long as not every single order was refunded.

AFascistWorld··on TSMC Talks 7nm, 5nm, Yield, and Next-Gen 5G and HPC Packaging
No she's not his relative.
AFascistWorld··on Chaos in Hong Kong as hundreds of masked men assault protesters, journalists
That looks like a high horse? The consequences will not be borne by you but by the HK public, and when that hurt their daily lives you better wish they won't change their mind.

Also, you don't care what they say but there are 1.4 billion people that do, and lies will become truth.

AFascistWorld··on Chaos in Hong Kong as hundreds of masked men assault protesters, journalists
The siege happened yesterday, and Chinese mouthpieces and websites are calling it a blatant provocation on sovereignty by thugs.
AFascistWorld··on India Launches Chandrayaan-2 Moon Mission on Second Try
The latest Avengers movie made box office record. I'm starting to think all these moon/mars missions by various countries a waste of money and resources. Why don't they cooperate and avoid making their own wheels?
AFascistWorld··on Chaos in Hong Kong as hundreds of masked men assault protesters, journalists
This follows protesters' siege of The Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

PS: I'm just stating a fact not endorsing anyone here. The "siege" of CCP office is a very bad move. They are hurting the face of the mainland, provided excuses and received the ruthless response this political machine was designed to do.

AFascistWorld··on Click farms: a shadowy internet industry is booming in China
You can never eliniminate it, you can only drive up the costs.
AFascistWorld··on Click farms: a shadowy internet industry is booming in China
Then you haven't heard of the scammer logic: I made money coz I'm capable/I made it by my ability, you have an issue with it/are jealous? Go make your own then.

It doesn't matter how, it matters whether you made it.

AFascistWorld··on Health Insurers Make It Easy for Scammers to Steal Millions
Hospitals in California now requires Chinese patients to pay upfront, and from what I gather, you don't even need to ask the doctors and hospitals for them to unknowingly sign you up various healthcare benefits.

Some birth tourists in fear of immigration policy changes need to specifically stress and request to not being signed up.
