Plus, the best API alternative?
Had to hop onto my VPN to view.
Edit: Ok, at least not viewable in the UK!
Glad I was wrong!
I pay £5/m for unlimited data, 600mins, unlimited texts on Three. I know I've been super lucky with that deal in particular.
My VPN provider has said they won't support WireGuard until it hits 1.0
Not properly tried this before, but I'd imagine if it was interesting I'd want to stay awake and listen to it or find out more information... if it's boring I'd just be annoyed by the noise. Maybe bore myself to sleep?
If not, I'm sure a combination of things could work, like Facebook or Netflix.
In case you didn't want to click the link.
Back when I first created a GitHub profile, I started getting emails to an email that I don't usually give out. This eventually led me to GitHub after some mentioned seeing my profile which led to me improving my Git knowledge and finding out how they did it.
Where are you exiting?
I actually almost prefer the keyboard, I feel like having less travel means I have to press slightly less and can type marginally faster on my Mac keyboard than a normal one.
I’ve not had to replace anything, I’ve had a key that felt stuck once or twice, but after a good bash it fixed itself. But it is almost 3 years old now!
The Touch Bar is a bit useless I’ll admit, but using BetterTouchTool I’ve made it more useful. Shows me my company share price live, tube status and the time of my next train as well as shortcuts to my most used apps.
Very rarely have any news outlet.
The engineers there obviously have info before the public status page gets updated.
Or just a normal report, then lookup the IP location?
9ms on Cloudflare, 10ms on Google.
Recently started using Go a little, and it does feel better but it just takes longer for me to write (probably because it's newer to me too). At work, people want things quickly. I'd love to be able to spend my time writing things properly in Go, but it's just not as quick and easy as Python is.
Just find it so hard to concentrate on it, almost wish I hadn't started it but don't want to give up on it now. Will have to try and get into a habit like you, good luck with it!
Generally, at work this is ok as I enjoy what I do. However, I study for a degree part time, which is in 'Computing and IT' - the same field as my work, BUT it's so out of date, and the content is so boring I just can't do it, until last minute when I have to.
I genuinely think if I had studied this course, before working in tech I may have changed my mind. It's mind numbingly boring. Even if they just taught the content in a better way, something like A Cloud Guru where you have videos, guides to follow along etc. but all I get is books. It's awful.
(While we're on the topic of it, I should be studying... getting back to it now, promise!)
Is there anything missing from Bitwarden that's in other paid apps?
Webhook > AWS API Gateway > Lambda
The Lambda uses the new(ish) Layers feature so it can use Git. I then use the truffleHog[0] library to scan for entropy/regexes inside the commit.
If something is detected, it posts to an SNS topic, which is currently subscribed to by another Lambda that posts an alert to my team and the Security team's Slack channel.
It then calls the GitHub API to make the repo private to limit the exposure.
