3327··on London’s rental market is being flooded by bargain Airbnb listings
God bless the end of airbnb. Airbnb is a toxic parasitic leach that needs to die.

It has ruined housing for the neady, and broken the diversity within cities.

Someone please tell me one benefit of Airbnb for society? Not the individual, and I will eat my words.

Thanks.

3327··on Deep Learning Is Dead
sensational big grand claim title, with nothing to back it up. Another article into the junkbin of shitty editorials.
3327··on Track infections through resting heart rate
I have a garmin that constantly has my RHr.

I knew i had COV-19, so I logged everything.

Friday (contraction of virus) to Tuesday (first symtoms) my RHR tanked each day incrementally from 62 all the way to 50. on Wednesday when my fever kicked in, RHR jumped to 64.

3327··on Microsoft Teams goes down just as Europe logs on to work remotely
My manager forced me to use teams, and I gotta say its down half the time, messages go late. Its basically as bad As skype and there is no reason it should be better in the future.

Microsoft is terrible at making product and will remain so for the future.

3327··on Google contradicts Trump claims: it’s not working on a coronavirus portal
Ok verily google, basically google communications is putting out the statement so its arguably google... sure its Trump so the facts are obviously murky but, in this case i think a subsidiary and or google is a non-starter argument.

Knowing many googlers there are massive numbers of volunteers internally so his 1700 number may not be completely off...

3327··on [dead]
This is a very poorly written article with no evidence what so ever, except for citing various sources and pictures of “top viral” specialists.

Exactly - I have gotten ill in Bali once - its not pretty... they can cremate you there and toss your ashes into the sea before you can spell Corona.

As a long time member of this community, it is a simple and just request. You may choose to diverge the attention elsewhere for your own motives or beliefs.

OP: please declare that you are free from any conflict of interest.

Thank You.

3327··on Google resists demands from states in digital-ad probe
How about declaring any conflict of interest what-so-ever? any connections or vested interest?
3327··on Google resists demands from states in digital-ad probe
Fun fact 4: OP (notamanager) account is brand new, these are his first posts (not that its not probable), yet, here he/she is with all the fun facts and actively commenting and making a investigative counter case.
3327··on Tim Sweeney: Android is a fake open system, and iOS is worse
Perhaps, it still doesn’t make Tim’s claim false. Surely they can patch the vulnerability.

The point is, the world is pushed back into prodigy land of closed systems. Sure, it was completely wild west during the period when everything was open and that, the current state is defacto consolidation... however, innovation has its limits once kept in a sand box. From an ecosystem perspective, there are ways in which, closed systems and open world can exist.

Google and apple have for better or worse decent ecosystems, but, have they not stiffled competition in subtle yet effective ways for years?

3327··on Boing 737-800 at Istanbul overran runway, impacted wall, broke up
This is the Second runway excursion in two months, same airline, same airport, similar conditions.

The prior one was less severe and never made it to international press.

3327··on Harvard Just Discovered That PowerPoint Is Worse Than Useless

3327··on Class Action Settlements
Totally agree, i got the Zappos letter too and thought it was a sales hoax, 10% is. Joke, they readily distribute 10% coupons weekly. It’s basically legal firm taking the juice and giving them a layup for forking over the 30mn legal fee. I wonder what fee the law firm ultimately got paid? Guessing 10-30mn
3327··on Apple, Silicon Valley chip stocks hammered after Trump's 'shot across the bow'
I am not a Trump fan for the obvious long list of reasons. But the man has a point.

Top down, dictatorial action does have its advantages specially against China. definitely unexpected and surprising, which is an asset in the international game of thrones.

3327··on AI made from a sheet of glass can recognise numbers just by looking
Agree, I would say its more like a logic-tree or more like an optical circuit. Even academics are choosing hot names for papers, basically in CS today, if your paper does not have AI in it, good look getting attention.

3327··on Half a Million People Signed Up to Storm Area 51. What If They Show Up?
