"Reichstag Fire"?

I agree. I have found this to be the 'easiest' with 'smaller' list sizes (definitely less than 50 - ordering of UI elements).

Implement a specific call that takes a list of all IDs in the new order, and batch run the UPDATEs on the server side.

I did enjoy the article, but did not realize it was PostgreSQL specific until towards the end.

Very clever, Argyle.

So, you retired at 45?

The state is not that efficient in coordinating with a municipality.

I know this is not the appropriate venue, but can you get somebody to renew the cert for starfighter? Thank you.

Also, outdoor advertising is quite profitable as well.

You can't take a self-driving Lyft to the airport or the self-driving bus terminal?

In a similar vein to auto franchises restricting Tesla sales in certain states.

Are you supposed to have an email server at your house?

You are only accounting for money, not time.

See, for example, what the Church of Scientology was able to do to the IRS.

It is being subsidized by several health insurance companies in the US.

It would be interesting to see adoption rates in countries with socialized medicine (not watches).

I think that is an interesting insight - the majority of Google's offerings are from aquisitions of 'established' implementations, whereas Amazon's are developed in-house to solve a pain-point, that is felt by other businesses, too.

So, is Amazon really more B2B, while Google is B2C?

Is Amazon using e-commerce like a US university looks at undergrads for funding?

Also, Corporate America hosting more of their data with Amazon is not helping.

Also, I believe the newer fast.ai course uses Pytorch, and the prior used Keras?

I would like to know more from the article about setting x,y,m1, and m2. Any explanation is appreciated.

Acai berry is ok, but Bitcoin is bad?

The technique in the article does not seem to be using depth data (there is a picture in the article), only RGB image data.

So, he could have gotten the same results with a webcam.

My understanding is that these depth cameras create a 3d point cloud and use the rgb to map/overlay color onto the 3d.

Prior to adwords, what was their business model?

Go.com w/ Overture, acquired by Yahoo - that had PPC offerings before Google even had a monetization strategy.

How does one prevent data-driven design from becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy?

Medium of exchange, store of value, and a unit of account, right?

Wasn't kismet a wifi security tool?

I have seen shark bites fail.

It is particularly problematic in inaccessible areas (hidden behind drywall).

PEX compression fittings with coupled 'sticks' of straight PEX makes runs easier (not having to straighten out the 'coil').

Also, check out the Milwaukee PEX tool. Expensive, but awesome.

PS

In the first episode of Stranger Things, you can see the hot and cold PEX runs in the kitchen of the diner. Very progressive.

I wonder this about TrueCar.com, too.

Closed garden. :(

Or using the web version of Slack to make a call or screenshare.

You made me chuckle.

How difficult is it to use/implement as a 3D scanner (3d modeling)?

I assume with two cameras on the back, it would be possible to create a stereo video stream and implement a transformation as you described.

Is it like driving in the rain with broken winshield wipers?

Yesterday's fuzzy logic is today's AI?

My anecdote:

Macbook G4 - still works fine, boots up fast, resume/sleep very fast

Macbook Pro 2010 - battery holds about 30 minute charge

iPhone 4/4S - batteries are fine, never replaced

iPhone 5S - on my 4th battery
