I do agree that resistance training is important and often forgotten part of fitness. Having muscles means extra BMR and you will look better when you do lose that extra weight as opposed to that skinny fat look.

But in this case the media narrative is very much "this why we need everyone to join NATO/be West-aligned" whereas it's exactly the expansion of NATO that has lead to these conflicts. As much as we'd all like for everyone to do what they want, in reality you need to consider the position of your neighbours especially if they have power. For an alternative example - see how USA reacted to Cuba becoming communist aligned, very much pot calling the kettle black, no? ;)
Goes to show how people will happily swallow the media narrative without thinking about the big picture.
If you have to argue that:
- you actually need a PhD in dog psychology(or whatever "understanding dog behaviour" means) to have this specific breed
- that pretty much "yes breed determines traits and behaviours but also doesn't!"
- conflating play fighting with very pit bull specific action of biting down and shaking(a technique bred into them for bloodsports) to prove that no, pit bulls are actually not so dangerous and just like any other breed
...to prove that pitbulls aren't potentially inherently dangerous then I can't take your argument seriously.
Just the fact that pitbulls being a minority of the dog population in the US and UK and still causing the majority of maulings and dog attack fatalities should be evidence enough that something's fishy.
Haha, I'm sorry but this is hilariously false. All other working-dog breeds have genetically ingrained behaviours that no one teachers them - retrievers retrieve without anyone teaching them, border collies corral ducks and children without anyone teaching them, pointers point without anyone teaching them.
However pitbulls are always the odd one out in the apologists' eyes - somehow them being purposefully bred for fighting bulls, rats and dogs and having behaviour and features that would make them successful in these pursuits is nothing to do with genetics and everything to do with their owners. Despite there being many cases of pits being adopted by very kind and caring owners and the dog still mauling them.
Even if some users comment that the dog is dangerous based on how it looks, that doesn't refute the trove of evidence that pitbulls can be an inherently unsafe breed compared to non-fighting breeds.
I assure you - Putin is not deranged.
The first reason Russia invaded Ukraine is because Ukraine joining NATO(in before "but Ukraine could never have joined NATO!!" - yes it would have and NATO was pursuing that, look it up) would be catastrophical for Russia's defense. At that point the only option for defense from any invasion would have been nuclear armageddon - if say in 20 years NATO comes back and decides to annex Crimea would it be an easy choice for whoever's responsible to press the big red button or would it be nicer to defend it through conventional means?
Secondly, Ukraine has found natural oil/gas reserves that would have competed with Russian exports.
Thirdly, Ukraine has turned off water supply going from Dniepr river to Crimea making it very difficult for Russia to supply water to that area.
I'm not saying that this justifies the invasion - war is a terrible thing and people on both sides are suffering, but would we also be surprised if USA invaded Mexico or Canada to stop it getting aligned with China? I wouldn't.
And I'm pretty sure Lomonosov and Dostoyevsky don't care about what passport if any you have, please renounce it already and stop this soppy drivel.
On a serious note, most of store bought kvass might as well be Coca Cola but the real thing is good for you - it's a Russian kombucha. The sugar gets all used up in the process of fermentation and the bacteria are good for you.
And you can have your opinions quietly instead of standing on the rooftops and tooting songs in your own name. If people find out that someone, say, does charity work that speaks a lot more powerfully than someone that does a photo-op and then advertises to everyone what a truly generous person there is. So which out of these is having opinions, which is virtue signalling, and to which column does Mr Neil Young apply to?
Just the one's I know about is the whole 'Southern Man' song controversy, then another one is when Trump purchased the rights to play "Rocking in the free world" for announcing his run for presidency and Young first claimed that Trump did it without permission and then when confronted about that statement avoided it like a weasel saying "everybody can use it if they like it", and now this.
If you don't want to be on a platform don't be there, just leave quietly instead of trying to garner attention for yourself by jumping on the hating Rogan bandwagon.
Of course, they might catch a few mothers with prams on their way to said home, but that's a reasonable price to pay for not wasting so much time pulling people over!
The being able to stop a serious criminal is just a bonus.
The culture of 4chan is also self-deprecating, why don't you rise up against that too and say that it's bullying against young un-successful males that can't get girls to stand within 10m distance of them?
