Yep. Mine does, anyway. From near London, UK.

It's an British thing, in my understanding. I've never heard an American say it, but I see it in English literature all the time. I can only assume it's a regular, everyday word there.

That's one of those words that sound formal to American English speakers but not most others.

My 2 year old does, though he picked it up from Thomas the Tank Engine.
