Now with AI - you can cry about it or learn how to use it. Simple

Im making video games on the side I never thought possible - for example - all by myself and a 40$ subscription

Things are changing

And its never going to be this cheap ever again so grab it while its hot

Because by next year 2027 the price with be 10x

I too do video game dev as my offterm job, I would say coding is like 5% of a game, and the market is more flooded than Florida in summer. I shifted from Unity to Godot and usually just make games for myself or just chill on gamejams. Money in video games dev is also rare, but its more enjoyable than web dev and again AI's impact on the video game dev is very minimal.

I enjoyed Pieter's vibe coding jam: https://jam.pieter.com/ and I made some horrible games, but atleast its funny.
