Yup, nobody discusses their salary. I made the mistake of complaining about giving 50% of a bonus to the taxman and now people think I'm rich. I'm far from it.

Aren't you? What's the threshold for rich? Top 20%? 10%? 5%? You might be closer than you think.

Rich does not necessary mean independently wealthy.

Very few of the wealthy people I've known have considered themselves rich.

Downvotes on this comment are evidence of the toxic envious nature of people. Prove me wrong.
