> 8kun is a message board filled with extreme language and views. It's popular with far-right activists and believers in the QAnon conspiracy theory - a belief system which says that Trump is waging a secret war against satanic elitist paedophiles.

> A "loaded question", like a loaded gun, is a dangerous thing. A loaded question is a question with a false or questionable presupposition, and it is "loaded" with that presumption. The question "Have you stopped beating your wife?" presupposes that you have beaten your wife prior to its asking, as well as that you have a wife. If you are unmarried, or have never beaten your wife, then the question is loaded. Since this example is a yes/no question, there are only the following two direct answers:
> "Yes, I have stopped beating my wife", which entails "I was beating my wife."
> "No, I haven't stopped beating my wife", which entails "I am still beating my wife."
Propaganda...so easy, and yet so effective at shaping beliefs (even of intelligent people), especially when there is some truth to it (real, or established).
EDIT: looks like it's been taken care of for good now:
> [flagged] [dead] How a misleading post went from the fringes to Trump’s Twitter (bbc.com)
Funny how it disappeared from the top 500 before even being flagged. It will be interesting to see how many "dogs that didn't bark" there will be 1/3/6/12 months from now in the good ole US of A.
I guess now we'll see if my two admirers show up now that the post isn't accessible.
Reminder to self: some kind stranger gave me one upvote, so the usual -1 final score should be 0 this time.
