Funny how it disappeared from the top 500 before even being flagged. It will be interesting to see how many "dogs that didn't bark" there will be 1/3/6/12 months from now in the good ole US of A.

The way I see it, you can either have politics on the site or not. You can't have politics, but then filter it out to the point that the front page is an alternate reality bubble where Trump doesn't lie daily.
Stuff like this will get consisted flagged to the depths of HN while conservative victimization porn from tabloids about how Mailchimp and the liberal elite are coming to take away your conservative values and censor your views will linger on the first few pages for days. You can't have it both ways.
IMO, HN needs to rethink the way it's flagging system works to prevent abuse.
