I really don’t see the overarching issue here. This is the “United States”. States govern themselves and have their own stock piles. The government stockpile isn’t a Walmart for each state to go shopping at. While it’s the federal governments job to assist in crisis, the reality is that many states (primarily NY) haven’t properly maintained their own stockpiles and are now wanting to point fingers at someone else. It’s political BS at a time when we need it the least, and the media is just exasperating the situation for the sake of entertainment and fear. ...sad, very sad.
