I wonder if the author knows that coffee and most types of tea have approximately the same amount of caffeine in a cup.
Mayo Clinic says otherwise: https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-h...
Typical caffeine content in 8oz of brewed coffee: 95-165mg.
Typical caffeine content in 8oz of black tea: 25-48mg.
Low-calorie, low-caffeine, lovely to taste and a nice warm cup to start the day. What's not to like?
Coffee: 95mg / 8oz
1 shot espresso: 64 mg / 1oz
Black Tea: 30mg / 8 oz
Green Tea: 35mg / 8 oz
Maybe the American filter coffee isn't as strong? You can only get espresso-based coffee here.
