What always makes or breaks a job for me isn't the job it self but the people I work with.

I hate to say it but friendly one upmanship, humor and socialization are what keep me going.

Are you friendly and social with your coworkers?

This is a really good point. The moments I've most enjoyed in my tenure so far have been when I had to come through for a colleague and I was able to do it. My manager and coworkers are really awesome, and we usually all eat lunch together, but yeah, I could definitely make an effort to strengthen those bonds.

100% Agree. The most interesting work in the world can become awful if you don't get along with the people you work with -especially your manager. Getting along with your colleagues and having a great manager can make even the most horrible work tolerable.
