That's pretty neat! thanks for sharing

Can you elaborate why we should use IntersectionObserver/ResizeObserver?

Currently there is no logic in place to do the calculation and detect if there is more available content or not, so I'm 100% sure if understand the issue

I guess it doesn't have to be a React component, you are right. But just by doing so you get a lot of things for free and makes it easier for people to start using it, like, you just install it, require it, and you are good to go... that was the motivation beyond using React for it

Oh sorry about, I copied that from a previous project I did, just published a fix for that. Thanks!
zzarcon··on Show HN: ReactCircle – Renders SVG circle and percentage
You are so right!!

Im using an external tool for deploying the site, created a PR there to use production mode, do you think that should be enough? Thanks! https://github.com/zzarcon/ts-react-toolbox/pull/2

zzarcon··on Show HN: ReactCircle – Renders SVG circle and percentage
Thats a good point, just created an issue for it https://github.com/zzarcon/react-circle/issues/12 feel free to put some feedback there, thanks!
zzarcon··on Show HN: ReactCircle – Renders SVG circle and percentage
Interesting... will have a deeper look into it, if you have any idea on how to make it better you are welcome
zzarcon··on Show HN: ReactCircle – Renders SVG circle and percentage
I fixed the issue, was unrelated with the component itself, can you please have a look again and verify that it works fine? https://zzarcon.github.io/react-circle/
zzarcon··on Show HN: ReactCircle – Renders SVG circle and percentage
Can you please try it again? the issue was not related with the component itself https://zzarcon.github.io/react-circle

let me know if you still experience that issue

zzarcon··on Show HN: ReactCircle – Renders SVG circle and percentage
Thanks! That was the motivation for the project, do something simple right, feel free to add any feedback or contribute to the repo!!
zzarcon··on Show HN: ReactCircle – Renders SVG circle and percentage
After some investigation, I found that the cause of the issue is not the component itself https://github.com/zzarcon/react-circle/issues/10
zzarcon··on Show HN: ReactCircle – Renders SVG circle and percentage
Thanks for the feedback! You are right, the demo currently hangs quite a lot on Firefox, Im pretty sure the issue is actually not related with the component itself, I created a issue on the repo to fix it https://github.com/zzarcon/react-circle/issues/10 :)
zzarcon··on Show HN: Running stuff when needed
Not sure if I understand the question. Can you please elaborate? Thanks!
zzarcon··on Show HN: Running stuff when needed
Yeah! You can enforce that using git hooks, but you will still need to place some logic to check which files has been changed right and what to do in those scenarios
zzarcon··on Building a custom tag input with Skate.js
Just wanted to share my thoughts on building a component with Skate.js. Maybe not the most famous choice right now but for sure a good alternative if you care about using web components and the power of the platform.

Thanks!

zzarcon··on How hard is to have virtual-dom by default in the browser?
Just wanted to share the thread here since I think it generated some good input there.
zzarcon··on Focusable – Set a spotlight focus on DOM element
Sorry man, you're right, I updated the Readme and put there a live demo link. Hope you like http://www.mrdrozdov.com/focusable/sample-app/index.html

I think that you're looking for is that http://html2canvas.hertzen.com/ :D
zzarcon··on Focusable – Set a spotlight focus on DOM element
Yes, intro.js is a great lib, I know that, but for me has an important missing feature; you can't interact with the focused element, I mean, you don't have any mouse event or similar... this is the only bad thing I think.
zzarcon··on Focusable – Set a spotlight focus on DOM element
So cool man, I just added your link to the Readme, thanks for the support!
zzarcon··on Focusable – Set a spotlight focus on DOM element
Yeah! is the approach I also follow in the library, you can check it here https://github.com/zzarcon/focusable/blob/master/app/focus-e...
zzarcon··on Focusable – Set a spotlight focus on DOM element
That's sounds good and easy, and can accomplish the goal, I'll open a PR for try your approach, thanks!
zzarcon··on Focusable – Set a spotlight focus on DOM element
You can find a live demo here (https://github.com/zzarcon/focusable/tree/master/sample-app).

About adding a border-radius, I'll love that feature, in fact I was thinking about implement it, but isn't as easy as it seems.

TLDR: Right now they are 4 divs for making the focus enable:

1- Fills the left part of the page. 2- Fills the top part of the page to the top part of the element. 3- Fills the bottom part of the element to the bottom part of the page. 4- Fills the right part of the page.

These divs are absolute positioned inside a wrapper that have disabled the pointer events to enable the interaction with the focused element.

So for that reason I can't simply add a border-radius for the active element.

This images can help me to explain you how it works http://cl.ly/image/3g2K2N1j1S3S http://cl.ly/image/031j3p283235

zzarcon··on Focusable – Set a spotlight focus on DOM element
Thanks sir! At the beginning I tried to implement the lib only with the Dom api, but was a little painful because isn't very agile and tedious... so I ended with the jQuery dependency, thing that I want to remove in the future.
