From a collector's perspective, the way to do is simple. You sort by new or sort by most viewed in day/week. If you don't have time, sort by category and sort by new/most viewed again. That is how people discovered things and hobbyists curate stuff for broader audience. Sadly, they're dying because platforms can't even get that simple concept. Legal platform can't even tag properly.
Every bootstrap site looks the same no matter how you customize it. Designers quite often focus on the details. They're the type of person who gets offended if the icon is off by 1 pixel. It is fine for most of us with no artistry brain, but may be boring to see the same bootstrap theme for them. Anecdotally, it is like clothing choice in different gender. Majority of men are fine wearing the same tee everyday, but most women prefer to wear different styles of clothes on each day.
Well, newer laptops are built with poor quality plastics, so the hinge will break after 2-3 years. Older models are a beast though. Even the budget Dell Inspiron 3520 (2013 ~$400) is still running fine as a youtube streaming machine.
The most common problem I encounter is that signing into their email accounts. Google somehow decided to send prompt to the phone even though nothing has changed (same password, IP, computer, browser with cookies). And, my parents have no idea how to find the relevant notification and find the prompt. And, I even take some time because there're like a thousand notifications on their phones.
I wish VPN also considers DPI when they design their protocol. It just sucks that every self-claimed decentralized app can easily be blocked. They can block faster than you can host another new instance & migrate users.
What happens if some websites don't allow you to add more than one passkey? Now, you need to keep track of which site has backup key, and which site doesn't have one. Also, the website needs to store multiple public keys now.
There are still a lot of questions I'm not clear with passkeys. How do you recover your keys if you lose your hardware? What happens if you lose your phone and have no extra trusted device? There will be no more phone number, and no more trusted device. Most MFA implementation, which heavily rely on phone number, will no longer work. And, for Yubikey, how do you backup? Do you need multiple Yubikeys? Do you need to manually make a copy of every keys? How do you know if the copy is synced with the main one?
