If you want to write a guide to do something, great. You contribute to the collective knowledge base, but there is absolutely no need having this combative attitude towards somebody are doing the same.
Will major players be too powerful that no competing solutions will realistically exist.
If this were true, I don’t see a problem here. This is harassment
Free resources are never free. I hope changes like this will pave the ways for the future of self hosting.
The realization of human nature really disappoints.
It’s important because all the findings seem to be based on it, but the specifics are not discussed.
They are just incredibly intuitive and easy to use. ggplot2 has fundamentally influenced how I think about plotting.
With my limited experience, I have never seen anything like it.
I think the engineers at System76 really know what they are doing and am excited about their new DE.
However, it was tweeted was two days ago.
It's unclear whether it's a bug on Youtube side or real censorship actually happened or user error.
At this stage this is not a valid censorship case against Youtube.

"During his 2010 trial, he claimed he was coerced into carrying the drugs, but he later changed his account, saying he had attempted to smuggle the heroin because he needed money. The court concluded that his story of duress was fabricated and sentenced him to death.
In 2015, he appealed to have his sentence commuted to life in prison. His lawyers argued that his I.Q. of 69, which is just below the internationally recognized threshold of 70 for determining whether someone has an intellectual disability, made him incapable of fully understanding his actions. I do have a genuine question though. Can a company just change their pricing structure and make it effective immediately(I understand they have a grace period here)? I guess for free tiers they probably can, because the users have never paid them, but what if I'm a paying customer? Could Docker simply say sorry we have changed our pricing from next billing cycle(or tomorrow) you have to pay 100% more. Could they legally do something like that?
A lot of people want to own their house while too many service/hardware providers are trying to be your landlords.
This is a cool idea but I think having a mandatory subscription killed it for me. It does not even provide an illusion that I can still have my own services intact and running indefinitely no matter what happens to or at the service provider. This is especially crucial when you consider how much of a pain switching email is.
Do I move out of Google just to be dependent on another company that requires a subscription for the illusion of owning my data? On top of that I have to deal with all the hassle that comes with it? I don't think so.
Like I mentioned, there are perfect legitimate reasons and need to do it.
However, the best privacy practice is to never share it. If you share, then it is no longer privacy first. The goals which one wants to achieve come first. I'm not saying it will not have adequate privacy protection. But it's not "privacy first" because it introduces the risk to someone's privacy for the benefit of something. That something comes first.
