Brennan has spent 10 years leading engineering teams in NYC in Healthcare and Ecommerce. Most recently, he was a founding team member of Cityblock Health where he led the engineering team through standing up patient-facing telehealth experiences, deep data partnerships with payors and led the development of Cityblock’s internal care management software.

Prior to Cityblock, he helped found numerous startups such as Care/of, led engineering at Motivate, ran Artsy’s public facing art discovery product and launched their art auctions software.

zamiang_brennan··on Ticker: Don't die of heart disease
Great post but quite surprised there is no mention of cutting red meat. There is a lot of evidence that especially the American diet is dangerously high in red meat to the point of elevating Heart Disease risk.
zamiang_brennan··on $115M verdict in Hulk Hogan sex-tape lawsuit could wipe out Gawker
I'm a bit confused why people are taking the side of Hulk Hogan. Maybe the dislike of gossip news is blinding people to the larger free speech implications.

Do you think a publication should be able to publish facts about a person?

Do you think a publication should be able to publish facts about a person without their consent?

Do you think a publication should be able to publish facts about a person that were initially obtained illegally but were given to the publication? (see wikileaks…etc)

If you answered 'yes' to all 3, what principals (or ideally…laws) let you side with Hulk Hogan?

zamiang_brennan··on Star Wars 3D Scrolling Text in CSS3
It looks like most of the comments are about how the 3D scrolling text does not work in this or that browser. Detecting support for CSS3 3D transforms is nontrivial (and perhaps impossible).

We deployed something similar on the homepage at http://art.sy. I wrote a post about our struggles detecting CSS3 3D transform support here: http://artsy.github.com/blog/2012/10/18/so-you-want-to-do-a-...
