Building Zamara (https://zamara.ai/)
submissionscomments
zainbahari··on Show HN: I built a no-login website screenshot tool for my non-tech friends
Nice, it works. But you already know this needs to be a browser extension. I use GoFullPage. I don't need to copy the URL, go to another website, and paste it there.
zainbahari··on Show HN: GiveMe AI – Upload a selfie, get a boyfriend/girlfriend photo
Nice. What image model are you using for this? By the way, it shouldn't make dramatic changes to the uploaded image, right? Looks like you might need to adjust your system prompt.
zainbahari··on Show HN: Can I please have feedback on my website?
It feels like you are trying to raise VC money at the moment. I mean, look at that H1:

"Bridge the gap between data and decisions"

If you are planning to send traffic to your website from real customers and convert them, my recommendation to you is to start with a narrow focus. How about this for an H1:

"Chat with your Shopify and ad data to understand what's driving sales"

Or:

"Link Shopify + your ad accounts, chat with your data and get insights"

zainbahari··on Show HN: Lie on your resume – Applie-AI
In their FAQ section, they say:

appLie-ai helps you bend the truth in ways that get you noticed, but always encourages you to stay safe and smart. Use your best judgment and never claim skills you cannot back up!

Is this enough? I don't know.

Things are getting a little confusing. Cluely, a startup that helps ‘cheat on everything,’ recently raised $15M from a16z! Is Cluely legal and ethical to use? Legal in some places? Possibly. Ethical? Much harder to argue.

zainbahari··on Show HN: Generate mind maps from anything with AI
Nice. I guess at some point this should be a feature in Miro and Mural. IMO, it makes more sense to have this ability right in your online whiteboards.
zainbahari··on Show HN: I loaded all Paul Grahams essays into an AI Avatar
Interesting concept. But it hallucinates a lot. It looks like you need to tighten the screws a little bit. What LLM are you using?
zainbahari··on Show HN: PinShot – a #1 free visual feedback tool
You are 15! Impressive, I must say!

About the product, I'm not really sure if this is a painkiller. People are doing this with Miro and Mural these days. Ask yourself why customers would switch. Change has a cost for customers (money, time, effort, risk). Your solution must stand out significantly to justify this cost. Differentiation is the essence of your solution, capturing attention and explaining why the new way is better.

zainbahari··on Show HN: Blank White Cards – Global Drawing Party Game
Very nice.

Really clean.

It looks like you are recording the sessions with Microsoft Clarity. You mentioned it is anonymous, but do you really need heatmaps and session recordings?

zainbahari··on Show HN: I built BodyCount to get an accurate 'number'
"There's a grossness factor to all of this I can't dismiss."

:))

zainbahari··on Show HN: Clipzy – dialogue grep for any show or movie
Nice!

I tried it with "I Am the One Who Knocks" from... you know what show :D

The "Watch here" section is not working, though.

What mini PC are you using? Beelink?

zainbahari··on Show HN: Watch babies being born worldwide on the live Baby Map – babymap.org
So, what is the source of the 'up-to-date population figures and annual birth rates' you use in your calculations?
zainbahari··on Show HN: Draw A Fish and watch it swim with the others:)
:))

Found it

zainbahari··on Show HN:Turn any YouTube video to structured data:youtube.com → indexyoutube.com
Nice. Keep building!
zainbahari··on Show HN: Draw A Fish and watch it swim with the others:)
Where is my fish?!
zainbahari··on Show HN: Stop losing hours collecting client API keys and tool permissions
To be honest, this wasn't a big problem for me when I was freelancing back in the day. I usually got the credentials over WhatsApp and asked them to remove the messages when I had them. If the client didn't know how to get the API key for a service, I would show them how to do it on Google Meet or call them.
zainbahari··on Show HN: I Made a Tool to Detect Leaked API Keys on GitHub in Real Time
So, who is this actually helping? Hackers or developers?
zainbahari··on Show HN: Grammit, Local AI Grammar Checker (Chrome Extension)
Nice. The local-only approach is super refreshing. So, it is using Gemini Nano through Chrome's built-in AI APIs?
zainbahari··on Show HN: Digital Solitude – A website that only works for one person at a time
:))
zainbahari··on Show HN: Get Feedback from the Internet
Why is this website so mysterious?! Every 3 seconds, I find myself thinking, 'Oh, nice!' and then again, 'Wait, what?'
zainbahari··on Show HN: Invoice Detector – All your invoices in one place, every month
Love those suggestions. We'll update our website soon with more supporting information.

zainbahari··on Show HN: Invoice Detector – All your invoices in one place, every month
Thank you so much for your insightful feedback! I really appreciate your detailed comments. Here are my thoughts on the points you raised:

Terminology: Interesting suggestion to use "(payables) bills" instead of "(receivables) invoices". We recognize that "invoices" might be more understandable for people in Europe, but we’ll aim to balance clarity for both regions.

Scope: I know what you mean. This is our beachhead. Our vision is to build a tool for freelancers, contractors, consultants, and SMBs to monitor their financial health. We want to enable people to run their businesses smarter.

Integrations: That's correct. We are going to start by fetching and analyzing data from invoices, but we will expand the system to include contract, license, and usage data. And yes, we will introduce data destinations in the future. QuickBooks and Xero are already on our list.

Pricing: Valid point. With our 'Essential' plan, companies can connect multiple inboxes and have some simple notifications and reports. Our data shows this is sufficient for freelancers and early-stage startups.

Messaging: We will go harder. For now, we are going to keep it simple :)

Transparency: We'll work on providing more details on our website, especially to meet EU standards. By the way, did you check the FAQ section on our website?

Thank you again for your encouragement and valuable suggestions!

AI needs to start doing useful things to deserve all that electricity and computational power it's being fed with :D

Yes, Invoice Detector can do that. This is essentially what we cover in our 'Essential' plan. Go ahead and give it a try.
